If it is on a list, it needs to be on a very short list, or near the top of the current list of things to do. People have complained about the animation and fx of hasten for as long as I have been on these boards. When power customization was originally done the lack of pool powers in the list really sucked. It is long past time to add the pool powers, and I am lost as to why the devs can't see that.

Perhaps some people just change their minds. There was a time when I didn't want people to be able to buy vet rewards, now I could care less. I would like to attribute my change of stance on maturity.

I want the Death Mage skirt the most, followed by the gauntlets, and then the shoulders (Archer and mage).
Sadly, the part I want the most is also the part I am pretty sure we will not get. I would LOVE to be wrong though. -
I wanna be Dirk Diggler...
Now on a serious note, I would want to be a super cyborg hero, with programing in all of the worlds fighting styles. So, a character like Adam Jenssen, except in a movie. -
I prefer to make my own costumes, and have never been a fan of the costume powers. Now, offer me a limited time on a costume item, and not just a costume change and I will snap it up.
As it is, the price point is still too high for a look I didn't design myself. While I know people have attempted to get their hands on these things from the cons, I have always had the whatever attitude towards them. -
I am never a fan of exemplaring. I just hate giving up my powers, so I find it a bit irksome that I have to do so to run these arcs. That is just my initial feedback before even running them.

You are going to have better luck on the larger servers like Virtue or Freedom. The truth is that red side has just never been as popular as blue. With the ability to make any at on any side to start, I don't see it getting any better.
I personally hate red side. I have enough depressing crap in life w/o adding to it in my free time. I know everyone doesn't feel the same and that is cool with me. My suggestion is to go gray at lvl 20, and then you can pick and choose as you like. -
If it is new, I can't seem to purchase it. It is not in the store, and it gives me an unknown sku if I try to buy it in icon.

Quote:Because there is no 20-30 range for Preatoria. This zone allows people who don't want to go to Primal Earth to continue their story, and those who did go to Primal to go back and help their people and world sooner.Whilst it is quite a fun play through I hate missions where you have some npc tagging along, which seems to happen an awful lot as a plot device to lead you to your next contact within these arcs.
I also can't understand why they released more content for the 20-30 range which is already saturated, when the 30-40 range is still suffering from a lack of 'proper' content. -
Quote:A question, would it not be easier to just add a particle effect to a weapon, and then make that weapon a selectable option in the weapon menu?I wouldn't call it new tech, though maybe a new technique. I believe the solution would be similar to what we did for Path Auras, which activate with an indicated animation state. If each weapon has its own animation state, the need to add an unwieldy number of options in the menu may be eliminated.
I agree with BaBs that having to implement all those menu options would be a deal-breaker. I'll spend some time on this and see what's possible.
I can see where allowing an aura to be placed on it would be the better option because of the range of effects it would allow, but I can also see where it may be the harder option.
Now, I will admit I don't know how your system functions. So I know I may be way off base here. I do know I would prefer to add the aura to my weapon from the aura menu, but at this point I would also be happy with a version of weapons with just the standard 4 elements.
As for granite armor changes, I would prefer anything over looking like a walking turd. I tend to skip any power that obliterates my costume. Many of us spend hours making costumes, and we have no desire to wipe them out using a power.
Oh, and just about ANY change to Hasten FX would be better than what we have now. Again, I would like the 4 elements in the long run, but I would just be happy for the effing flaming hands to go away for now. I really can't stress (within the forum rules) how much I hate the Hasten FX. Pretty sure I am not alone in that. -
I would read this story in novel form. I LOVE this zone.
From the sharks to the flowing sand in the crags, everything about this zone is breath taking. It also gives me hope that weather effects are not too far off. I really hope we get access to some of the amazing costumes that are displayed in the zone also. -
Is Jack Black still the voice? I find that to be the problem I have with animated movies becoming TV shows, they mostly seem to loose the voice talent. I have 4 kids, 2 of which are under 10yo. Nick is a regular part of my TV viewing, so I am sure I will catch it at some point.

Not a big pirate fan. But a sale is nice, I will however save my points.

Quote:OR maybe he should be stopped because he is just like Cole and is willing to wipe out those who will not toe his line. We really are seeing two different things here, and you have continued to ignore the evil actions of the Resistance, while pointing out the evil actions of the loyalist. You have blinders on.Calvin Scott might still have to be dealt with - now that Vanessa's gone, he colud do something stupid, and risk everything, just as we're so close to a final victory over the loyalists - like trying to stop us killing Mother Mayhem, even if that was the only way to get rid of her - because he mightn't be able to bring himself to do that and lose Aurora at the same time - and some of his fighters could also side with him, so we'd have to fight them too.
Quote:Tyrant needs to be stopped to protect Praetoria. -
Quote:For you maybe, but for me it is still about protecting the people. Which is why I choose to NOT do things like blow up hospitals, or poison a water supply in the first place. I just can't find where that would be considered good...
And then they side with the Resistance for the Incarnate content
Spoiler!!!!!
The UG makes it clear that the actions of the Resistance Crusaders AND the Loyalist Powers prove Hammidon correct. Humanity does not deserve to survive.
Cole had the right idea, he just carried it out wrong. As they say about the road to hell...
End Spoiler. -
Quote:If this is the case, it would be very good to say so now.I think you guys might be missing the joke behind Zwillinger's post. I'm pretty sure he's equating the new word Stuff with our old tried and true concept of Soon. Clearly what this means is that we will definitely get new Stuff but it won't be on any fixed schedule and it'll only randomly appear whenever it's ready. I think if we actually routinely see something significantly new out of this exactly every 7 days it'll be a minor miracle.

Quote:I know this is going to be like talking to a wall...but the Loyalist Responsibility arcs are all about being loyal to the people, and not exactly to Cole.
That's because FW is 20-29, so it's closer to the Incarnate content than the 1-20 GR stuff was, which means that the zone storyline needs to move everyone closer to fighting Tyrant and the loyalists - the closer to level 50 the contnet is, the more it has to invovle helping the Resistance, as they're the ones the players are meant to side with.
Also, you did pay attention to the UG story right????
I think FW is meant to be a bit more open ended, and well.. sad. I remember running it in beta, and I felt like crap by the time I was done. This was a GOOD thing IMO because it made me actually feel. -

Well Sam, the up side is that they could say that new weapons were just additions to existing themes. That is one of the great things about the boosters, they can be added to at any time.
Now, I agree that it is unlikely to happen, but it would be nice. I would with out a doubt buy any new sword or bow put in the store, and I don't even play ranged toons. -
I was on the the old boards when they first opened. I mean the old pre-beta boards. I however started paramedic school soon after. I was working at a media store when the game was released, and bought it two weeks later when I got paid. I did not reg for the new boards till the first of the Regen nerfs hit. I wanted to protest.
Since, I have only let my sub drop for a total of 3 months. I now plan to renew for a year as soon as I have the lump of cash. -
I should be a bit more clear. I am not really trying to hold them to a "new stuff every week" schedule. What I am saying is that I am excited by the possibility that we will get something new in the store every week. I HOPE we get something new this week, because I want to give them more money, but there is very little in the store that I don't have, that I also want.
If nothing new is added this week, I may still grab another costume slot. -
So, a new week rolls around, and I can't wait to see what the new thing added to the store this week will be. The devs have posted stating that each new week something new will be added to the store, and I for one am excited. In fact, I think that addition each week will be one of the high points for my week.
I hope that Street Justice, or some new costume item is added. What do you all hope will be added? What do you hope to see more of in the store in the coming weeks? -
Quote:No need to even do this any more. Just have the art team make a few a week and add them to the store. Shoot, one new weapon a week would be awesome, and I am sure be guaranteed purchases for the majority of the player base.
Hell, devote a chunk of a whole Issue to adding more weapons.
