Mine has pikachus.
It is better.
[/ QUOTE ]
Your is better, not exactly because of the Pikachus, but because one is constantly slapping the other around the chops -

Oh, sorry, i didn't reralise you were referemcing a specific thing.

A lot of artists, for whatever reason, cannot accept criticism on any level. Worse still are their fans who seem to be infinitely more rabid when it comes to defending what they like.
[/ QUOTE ]
You're right, but it goes both ways. Some critics cannot accept criticism of their style of criticism, as it were, and they too have their fans who will rush to their defense.
Eco.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe so, but at the end of the day, a critique is a personal opinion and doesn't actually NEED defending, unless the critic has done something fundamentally wrong, like not playing/reading/watching said thing they are critiquing.
Additionally, it wasn't a criticism of the style of reviewing, it was more of a criticism of the opinion. It pretty much came down to "You only dislike it because you have no idea what you're talking about.".
That's pretty much setting yourself up to be infallible. -

This makes me
Garlic is toxic to cats.
[/ QUOTE ]
Chocolate and salt are toxic to people too... we can still eat them.
Everything is about quantity, I wouldn't feed a cat garlic bread regularly, but occasionally it won't do them any harm.
Milk will do them much more harm imo and cats all over the place drink that. -
Real criticism is hard to come by a lot of the time. People often feel that if they criticise someone's work that they may upset or offend them.
I think this latest "problem" kinda proves that. A lot of artists, for whatever reason, cannot accept criticism on any level. Worse still are their fans who seem to be infinitely more rabid when it comes to defending what they like.
And that isn't just AE, or CoH or anything. That's with every single thing out there. -

It's the AV at the end of that TF. Hopkins, he's a dude that looks like a Secret Service agent on both STEROIDS and Ahnold's fitness plan.
[/ QUOTE ]
I know who he is, I was just wondering what "Hopkins-class AV" meant -
[ QUOTE ]
and finally defeat Hopkins ("The Hopkins-class AV").

The what now? -
[ QUOTE ]
Of course you're free to take what you want as canon. I myself don't accept the whole Origin of Powers thing as canon since it contradicts so many things and cheapens many of the origins by trying to say that they're all really caused by magic, even the Tech and Natural ones.
[/ QUOTE ]
I always felt that it stated that they were tied by Fate. Which could be magic, although, if it existed, most would consider it a fundamental natural part of the universe. -

The handful of non-glowing responses I've seen have been very reasonable and more in the realm of disappointed but still understanding. For that I'm exceedingly grateful.

Don't listen to them BABs, not at all.
These are the sort of people who, if you cured cancer, would just complain that you hadn't cured AIDS while you were at it. They'll never be happy... ever
You've done a fantastic job of bringing this most wanted feature too us. Well done man -

Have we heard if we can change the powers customization based on the costume slot, or is it going to be one set of power color customization for one character?
[/ QUOTE ]
Powers can be individually customized per costume slot, but not supergroup mode.

Wow... just... wow. -

Last but not least, if you haven't saved your Private Messages or thought about your forum handle yet, now is the time to do it!

I would LOVE to change my forum handle to the one I've always wanted to have from the START... but someone has been rudely holding onto it for FIVE YEARS without posting ONCE on these message boards!

I just realised... two colours per power... -
Ouch.
I think I'll remove Rage, although the mental image of you freaking out and hitting everything in your insp tray as fast as you can does amuse me somewhat.
Edit:
I reread everything, fixed a few mistakes. Rewrote most of the final mission's dialogue to remove that "shopping list" that was there. Removed Rage from the Super Soldier.
I kept Simms as a Galaxy Archon but added a bit to his description mentioning that he resists the brainwashing with experimental Peacebringer drugs. -
[ QUOTE ]
The powerset has a color choice box -- 'Default', 'Custom', 'Bright [power]', and 'Dark [power]' (i.e., 'Bright Fire' and 'Dark Fire'). When you pick 'Bright', you get additive color changes -- the colors you pick brighten the power (i.e., the standard Energy Blast colors are 'Bright'), and when you pick 'Dark', you get subtractive color changes -- the colors you pick darken the power (i.e., the standard Pain Domination is 'Dark').
[/ QUOTE ]
Could you expand on this a bit? Maybe because it's because I'm tired, but I don't fully understand what this means. -
Wow, bet you're wishing you hadn't "treated" yourself now Razor.
-
[ QUOTE ]
Also. You don't need to post about how you hate weapon draw. With alternative animations possible, that's a non-issue. It also seems, given the sheer wealth of animations along these lines already available (and supposedly already done at one time) that it should be much easier.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think you quite understand what animations, weapon models and redraw are... -

[ QUOTE ]
How can I make a set of click objectives, only one of which actually matters and the rest do not, such that it doesn't display the total number of objectives to click?
[/ QUOTE ]
What you need is two objectives.
Example:
Name one Computer and name the others Computers.
Computers do nothing, only Computer will let you finish the mission. In their "Singular" objective name, call them both "Find the correct computer". Bam, one correct computer, several fakes and one objective.
[ QUOTE ]
Alternately, how can I make an objective NOT show up in the bjectives screen? Would simply not making it required work?
[/ QUOTE ]
I seem to remember that all "required" objectives must have be shown in the objectives. If you make them non-required then they don't need to show up in objectives unless you want them too.
Hope this helped.
