I just came across this that I had encountered during the I19 beta and thought was freaking hilarious:

If you've got a Steam account, there are a number of COH related groups out there (I'm in at least 3 now, as Zekiran) so there will always be connections online.

Yeah I'm assuming this means 5 pm Pacific?

I did post already in the other linked thread, but I realized that I'd forgotten something!


** Which Dev is it that loves Half Life so much? I mean, the similarities between the Shadow Shard and Xen, but then later on the Lambda inferences, and the Praetorian contact "Mr. G" who looks AND acts ... rather a lot like "Gman"?

Because I love half life. And I adore Gman, so that all really, really made me giggle.

Oh yeah and:

** What about the newer music made more specifically for the game? I know that the original was pretty much cut and paste licensed, and I've got all that on my drive, but the newer pieces? Are they available anywhere for download? And a Praetorian Fan Kit?

*cracks knuckles and starts looking through Meet n Greet photos*

Only thing that may be a down side, unless some dev does something about the VIP / non-VIP status of accounts, people without VIP status and that have already exhausted their global openings, might not be able to properly participate. I'm not sure that new accounts can even be made. It would be a shame to have folks who are no longer VIP but still wanting to help out unable to attend.

Until we hear directly from NC's mouth about it, COH was not cancelled because of money flow from it itself. It had nothing to do with that. If it did, they would have allowed I24 to drop and add components of that to the market to gain that last shred of money before shutting down.

Indeed, and I personally salute you. For you and your storytelling ability got me to create Emperor's Adul8r, my main character Retail Retali8r's far-future form. In those stories - some disturbing, and some poetic - she found her home in Praetoria.

Your Cole is the one version of him that *she ever liked*. Sure, she knows what kind of rule it really is. But she has been loyal to him til the bitter end and beyond.

Way beyond, if the game winds up closed for good - she'll be logged out under his statue in Nova Praetoria.

I absolutely love Praetoria. It's beauty is unmatched. It reminds me of parts of my home city San Diego, in ways. (we have neon skylines too!) Yes, it's a clean and neat place with a dark underbelly, but what city doesn't have that? The world as well, thank you for bringing it to us. Compelling relationships between heroes and villains abound.

I am just tremendously saddened that I can never complete Emperor's Adul8r's journey to 50 AS a Praetorian. I have no interest in forcing her to become a hero or villain. She is already both, RR blueside, and Retali8ed Retailer on red. An immortal dimension-hopper like her needs the full treatment. She's 24, might hit 25 if I can arrange it, but I can't team properly with her, can't join a sg, and can't even use further tailor slots (I just bought the 6th slot 2 weeks ago PURELY for her to have a third costume).

I linked this map in my facebook account, lets spread this one around a bit. It's fun.

I don't know whether someone else has asked in these terms, but:


* I know that the "matrix room" is around as a glitch or perhaps still just there because it's cool. Also that the Paragon Dance Party map is still occasionally used for Devs to decide winners of costume contests and such. Are there other such locations in the game that we were never able to glitch to or see for ourselves?

* Were we ever going to get loincloths, asymmetrical outfit designs, or fingers?

* ... Is Pigg Diving okay now? Can we do that, and can anyone maybe start throwing models at Garry's Mod or XNALara? To be able to export our characters would be truly the most awesome thing ever done.

I'm hoping to have a couple before then, though I don't lead these newfangled Hami runs. I probably could if it was still the old "hug to death" style.

But yeah I'll be there with whatever on, I like to keep the jello out of my pores, you know?

It's possible that someone is going to allow accounts full normal access once more, but who knows.

Protector was surprisingly able to cough up 2 APs

I was triple boxing, I would have TRIED quad-boxing with all 4 of my existing accounts but one of them didn't really have any characters I wanted to have over on the vigil, really.

Showed up with Winter's True Spirit, Icy Grip of the Bear, and Zekiran my namesake. Friend showed up with Emerald Katana because I begged him to log on

Is dedicated, but not crazy!

Dang now to decide whether to take Retail Retali8r out of the Hive, or plop Winter's True Spirit on this. I think WTS.

About the oddities of villains using their mishmash of powers and powersets. Pretty sure that was my first post, as it's only about 2 months after my reg date, though I may have posted in other ways before then introducing myself.

Given ... well, everything...

Do you think this should be opened wider than just Protector? I can't say that it would be any easier on you, Vyx.
