On Saturday July 14th at 8pm Eastern in Pocket D I will host an attempt at the following 2 Keyes badges: Anti-Anti-Matter and Bunker Buster. We should be able to get both badges in a single run. If for some reason we don't, we'll run it a second time. I may work in attempts at Avoids the Green Stuff and Loves a Challenge if there is sufficient interest/time. However, those 2 badges will not be the focus.
If you are looking for the badge, please post in this thread. If you would like to attend just to help out, please post indicating your "helper" status.
Please bring your level shifted characters to give us the highest chance of success. I will start forming around 7:30pm Eastern. See you then! -
Congrats on a successful raid everyone! Thanks for hosting, Neutrio.

That's basically what I noticed too. Between the spikes and the ruins, moving in and out quickly enough was becoming a chore and LoS was an issue at times. I think the flatlands would work better with a dedicated taunter. We could probably keep him positioned there more effectively.

Congrats to everyone who earned The Really Hard Way badge today! Looked like we might have been stalled around 20% for a while but we managed to push though and succeed.
Excellent work everyone. Special thanks to Placta for hosting! -
Great runs all. Congrats to everyone who received Master of Lambda tonight! You all made it look easy.

For me to make the move to Virtue it would probably take quite a few beers followed by something like this:

Here is a quick video of a blueside CoP if anyone hasn't done one before and wants to see what is involved.
-
I should be able to make it. I can bring just about any AT depending on what's needed, as well as some EoEs.
-
I should be able to make it, with Tactics and team inspirations.
-
Sounds good. I'll be moving my Gravity/Dark Controller over to redside for it.

On Saturday July 7th at 8pm Eastern in Pocket D I will host a MoLambda. Unfortunately, not all of the badges can be earned in a single run, so expect to do 3 runs back to back for the following 3 badges: Lambda Looter, Antacid and Well-Stocked. We are going to ignore Synchronized because most people probably already have it just from running the trial.
If you are looking for the badge, please post in this thread. If you would like to attend just to help out, please post indicating your "helper" status.

Sorry to hear. Best of luck with your RL situation.

Quote:LFG is a good place to start. I'd also check out Champion global channels. A list can be found here.Champion is my server #3. PuGs there always run smoother and more entertaining than those in Virtue and Freedom. Tricky part is putting the PuGs together.
Haven't played for a while, so maybe things have been made easier with the lfg channel. -
Quote:I've done 3 PuG Hard Way runs since the lights fix where we were able to get it without using any Ultimates. The trick seems to be to summon your Lore immediately after the cutscene (or just before, as long as they're out at the start of the fight) and get people to take the first wave of lights out as soon as humanly possible. This way all the Lore get shifted fully as well as everyone in the league, and Tyrant goes down fast. I'd recommend trying it this way before using any Ultimates so they can be saved for Really Hard Way.I don't have the badge for taking out Tyrant using 12 Lights or less (The Hard Way). This badge was made much harder by the fact that the Lights were massively bugged and only affecting 16 random targets instead of EVERYONE. This was fixed in Tuesdays patch. This is the only badge you should need the Ultimate inspirations for.
-
Now that the lights bug is fixed, it's easy enough to run the entire trial. Full run Magis are still being formed. I'm assuming since the Summer Blockbuster Event launched just yesterday, people were focused on that last night. So don't worry, you'll get your runs in.

Just a heads up, I won't be leading a badge run this Saturday night. I think most people are caught up with badges. Please feel free to repost any you do not have and I'll resume runs the following week based on what looks to be in high demand.

If you're interested in leading trials, my advice would be to first start with the Wiki. While you're reading about each trial, don't get too worried about any strategic elements just yet. Read the Wiki for 2 things: 1) trial objectives (what you need to do to succeed) and 2) points of failure. As there can be many variations in strategy, those 2 elements will always stay the same. You may want to also take note of the level range of each trial and any special requirements (e.g. Magisterium).
Once you have a clear picture in your mind about what needs to happen in order for each trial to succeed, try to join a few on the server of your choosing. This is where you will fill in the gaps on strategy. You can read a lot of suggestions about strategy from the Wiki and on the forums, but you'll find each server has its own way of doing things, especially for the older trials. Chances are, the older a trial is, the more people will be on auto pilot. If you try to use a strategy that goes against the grain of a given server, you may experience a great deal of difficulty. This is not to say you should never try out new ideas, but as a first time leader, you'll probably want to go with the flow at first while you're still building confidence.
Once you're ready to start leading, all that's left to do is advertise your trial, invite people and communicate what you've learned up to this point: state the objectives, how to accomplish them and any relevant points of failure. You'll find with time you will emphasize some things over others as you see how people react to what you're saying. That comes with experience.
Quote:Just as an aside, if you're looking at leading in terms of what every single AT/player is doing on a league, you're probably looking at it too closely. Trials can generally be completed with a random assortment of ATs. There are some that are more useful during certain parts than others, but generally speaking, you don't need a certain AT per trial.Originally Posted by NatuhyruIs there anyone here that can teach me, literally, step by step on what each AT/player should be doing in each phase of every trial?
If you have any questions about the trials or leading them, please feel free to contact me @Amygdala. Good luck. -
I should be able to make it as a helper.

Sorry I had to leave after the first run, but RL called.
Great work getting The Hard Way, Ready to Rumble and Shadow Master. We were pretty close to Triple Threat on the first run. As others have said, it was unlucky timing that we missed it. I have no doubts we'll nail this one next time around.
Great job leading, Placta, and thanks for hosting. I will try to make it next time.
