Not really. Castle was pretty much the brains behind coding the new changes. If anyone has any idea how the code works it would be him. It would be a daunting task to tackle fixing pvp when one isn't as familiar with the code as the former "Powers guy". And I highly doubt the dude documented a lot of how the code in PvP works. Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely, very unlikely. The code is complex and if you're not familiar with it, why would you even bother trying to comprehend it when the rest of the dev team and marketting are only concerned with satisfying the rest of the player base. The player base that gives them more money than the small pvp population.

Any chance of pvp getting fixed just walked out of Paragon Studios with our rather large comic book guy powers dude.

As stated before, he's passed it off to Synapse, Black Scorpion, and to a certain degree Positron.

When the lead designer posts in Castle's goodbye thread and basically says "Yeah see ya Floyd, now I gotta figure out these power spreadsheets cause I haven't the ******* clue what's going on", that doesn't sit well with me.

Point is, Castle was the one to botch PvP and was probably the only one to un botch it.

Didn't you get the memo? Run 2-3 thermals, sometimes 4 if you can. Put the target on Follow, stack Heat Exhaustion FOUR times on the same target and do Total Focus spikes.

Some of them don't make a whole lot of sense.

Stalkers using the power the entire AT is revolved around using and killing someone.

They have to slot the powers just like everyone else does. I'm not entirely sure what you're attempting to accomplish by saying this because this applies to every AT that has key powers.

"That blaster used Build up and Aim, he doesn't have to slot anything special to use that power, so let's nerf that"


If you're dumb enough to stand still to get double ASed, you deserve to die.

Let me make it this much simpler.

You stand still. A melee combatant that has an interruptable, hand snipe, that is rendered useless if you break line of sight, runs up to you and starts using this attack.

You die. You then complain about this.

I didn't bother reading anything else you posted about stalkers because you obviously don't know what you're talking about. But I do commend your effort good sir.

Please see my case notes in regards to Fossilize and Concentrated strike. Once you've actually looked at these damage numbers then we can talk.

(BTW I think Fossilize, Shraks, and Concentrated strike are all doing damage WAY more than what they should be, singling out stalkers just makes it look like you don't really know what you're talking about.)
