  1. Perhaps it's just an old game with some SERIOUS issues.. I play many games with absolutely higher requirments and have practically no issues. Especially no issues of concern. Furthermore, our maps on the Cimerora TF are unacceptable, (not sure why we accept it) hugely unacceptable for a paid service game- and the time they've had to remedy.

Stuff like that just really angers me.
FiX DA GAME or claim you will never. Pick one.
  2. Aye.. It's windows 7 and the drivers.. WIndowed mode should resolve this delay. (which is annoying) Menuo, options, Graphics Audio, Resolution setting

I"m only guessing at your second problem here, but try using ALT TAB to select the correct version of CIty you want instead of just clicking on the taskbar area.
  3. I'm just curious if Recluse Victory has any real issues in performance in heavy battles.
Please state average frames per second as well as CPU, Ram, and Monitor size and OSystem, with a focus on heavy battles near either base. Try and be specific as possible. Thanks.
I may need an upgrade or I have some kind of problem somewhere.

    * I'm assuming all have reliable form of broadband

    I personally have
    Q6600 2.4
    Gtx 275 (896mb)
    4 Gigs 800mhz Corsair Ram
    Windows 7
    20 inch widescreen
In heavy combat I have only 30-14 Frames per second with (all recommended settings) which proves very difficult for manuevering at times. Normal battles 30-45 fps.
  4. Thanks for your interest, Chad.

Grandville is one place I generally get 40-to max refresh rate. Mostly I have zero issues in GV- floating/flying/jumping about.. Mostly = 97% of the time or higher
  5. Yeah. I'm really not being clear.. My apologies.
I just assumed for myself that entering RV and fighting near either Sides base would allow me more than 25 fps on my pc, or on an 8 man team with 'action galore' from powers etc.
It has really become an 'obsession' of mine to check FPS. I expect things to be clear and free of hazy/heavy type feelings in game in most circumstances. Especially on this game, with my pc.
My in game settings are all maxed except World Detail is 100%. Furthermore, I have no real change with FSAA maxed or off, all I can see is some jagged edges on most objects with it off. My resolution is 1680x1050 - mostly windowed
I wish there was a guide that stated average frames per second per system/monitor.
I believe absolutely the internet has effect and great bearing into this. Unfortunately my ping is excellent and have no packets lost. I do have the latest drivers for Windows Vista and Nvidia gfx and my intel Chipset.. Thanks for your thoughts.
  6. Hi,

I have been playing City for several years now. I currently have a 20 inch lcd widescreen monitor with a 60 hertz refresh rate
    2.4 Ghz Quad Intel Q6600
    Gtx 275 Nvidia (896mb)
    3 Gigs DDR2 PC 6400
    Vista 32 Bit Home Premium

To some this up , in certain areas I have what I believe to be uneccessary lag. To my knowledge I should be able to FLY SKY HIGH on 8 man teams without reservations with at least no noticeable lag. In certain areas my FPS drop to a unacceptable number, for instance, Recluse Victory, RSF, heavy combat would get me to 19-27fps
I'm not a novice, I degrag regularly, I know my internet is quite efficient. Also, when I bench the system I score a little bit higher for what programs suggest for my particular system. Example; 3dMarkVantage, PCPitstop.com shows a basic understanding of individual components. As I mentioned above my buddies have run simultaneous tests and I've scored a bit higher and nonetheless they flow well in City and I at times get frustrated with low fps and the dreadful lag. All hardwares are at stock values, nothing is OC'd. Does anyone have a clue as to what I could use to test or why I'm having 25 (approx) fps in RV ? Thanks in advance.
  7. OMG OMG.. Finally !! Praise NCSOFT MAGICIANS We've waited so long for this.. I even cancelled my account over not having a RIKTI WAR ZONE/aspect once.
THank you from the bottom of my soul !
