The Devs say - No.

Ultimately PVE mobs in a PVP zones are hazards of a PVP zone. Players do have control (and options) that will prevent them from being victims of the TP Foe tactic.

Regarding being held, immobilized, slept and then being teleported into a PVE mob: griefing? No.

If a player uses TP Foe and teleports another player into a mob, so that their health is reduced, and then finishes them off with a killing shot….griefing? No.

If a player intentionally uses a knockback power (or Repel or Dispersion Bubble) on another player from the top of the roof to the street below where there happens to be a PVE mob, and the player’s presence draws mob aggro and dies…should the player who knocked back the target player off that roof be actioned for griefing? No.

Then stop crying on broadcast when everyone keeps ganking you.

You can be smug all you like. The end result is still the same. A lot of us don't respect you, your tactics, or your attitude. So maybe you can't get banned for your behavior but you certainly can be shunned by those who you have victimized. There is power in numbers. Those numbers, heroes and villains alike are growing against you. It's us you play the game with. Not the Devs. You may want to consider that the next time you intentionally upset another player for some self gratification. Your actions speak far louder than your words.

If something upsets us it upsets us. Not you or the devs have anything to say about it. No one can tell us how we should feel. A lot of us have made it perfectly clear that some of your actions upset us. None of that seems to matter to you.

No law against farting in an elevator full of people either. Doesn't mean the people in the elevator aren't going to find it any less disgusting or upsetting especially if that person goes out of there way to do it as often as they can even after people have explained it was upsetting to them and why.

In other words your behavior in SC stinks and some of us are tired of it. Your attitude is you don't think we can do anything about it so you are going to do it anyway and the hell with how we feel. Yet you whine on broadcast if you get ganked constantly while laughing at us while constantly knocking people off buildings or causing them to get killed by mobs. Like what was said before. You reap what you sow. To whine about it afterwards is hypocritical at best.

What have your actions accomplished. Have you stopped FC? Nope. Has your rating gone up any faster than it would have if you haven't kept disrupting FC? I doubt it. The only thing I have seen you accomplish is several players heroes not wanting to team with you and Villains who want to gank you every time you are spotted. Well if that's your idea of fun congratulations. Personally I always thought you get more bees with honey but I guess hitting their nest with a stick will get you even more.

I like Kitties. But I am a notorious villain with a rep to maintain so let's keep that between us.

If someone attacks you in a PvP zone and you are having an RP event (like FC) that is NOT harassment.

If you are in a PvP zone you can attack another player repeatedly.

However - you cannot trash talk someone using vulgar words, racial slurs, sexual slurs or other UA violating actions. That IS harassment and can be actioned against by the GMs.

You could also be actioned for exploiting in a PvP zone - for example - by hanging out as a villain in a hero hospital to gank heroes as they respawn. This is not as designed and may be actioned.

Well CuppaJo has made it clear what the GMs have to say on the subject. The best way to deal with Catholic Knight disrupting FC is to attack him on sight since it is a PVP zone. Any other action could be interpetted as being worse than anything we are upset at Catholic Knight for and depending on the severity could become griefing. We don't want to go down that road. We as a server are better than that. Kill Catholic enough times maybe he will behave. That's our only recourse without violating the game rules.

Here's the issue some of us have with Catholic Knight. He intentionally goes to FC and pushes everyone off the building. If his intention was just to PVP as he claims he would attack one villian engage them in battle and try to defeat them. He does not do that. What he does do is summon his storm and tries to knock EVERY villian off the building from Fight club especially the melee villians. Is it violating a game rule? Nope. Does he have the right to do it? I guess so it's a PVP zone. Is it meanspirited? Absolutley. Does it upset the enjoyment of a lot of his fellow gamers? Well obviously by the size of the thread it does.

But hey it's his reputation he has to live with. Sooner or later when no one will team with him and every villian attacks him on sight he will have ruined his PVP experience in SC as much as anyone else. How sad for him if his enjoyment is to upset so many others to get his thrills. Hundreds of us are able to enjoy Siren's call, get bounty and PVP battles without disrupting FC. Kind of funny Catholic can't wouldn't you say?

We as a community have made our feelings clear on both sides of the issue. Probably would be better if we just let the thread die now. There are so many fun and positive things we can focus on instead of this issue I'm sure.

The Galactic Empire

The Galactic Empire is now forming a NEW Supervillain Group on the Champion Server. Any player who joins up between today and November 14th with have the title of founding member both in game and on our forums.

We will be well organized with over 5 years Guild Management experience spanning 2 games this being the third. We have a website that will be updated with new material at least once every 2 weeks. We have excellent forums and a ventrilo voice chat sytem. All we need now is all of you. Help lay the foundation of what will one day be one of the most prestigeous Super Villain Groups in the game. Our first officer corps will be selected from our founding members. Join the adventure today. Hope to see you there.
