This was the worst part of the announcement...
I mean, it was a total surprise, dont think anyone saw this coming.
One would think CoH was closer to end around I10 than now.
I24, tons of new content in production, not even a year as F2P, 16 servers...

If we had servers reduced, or a noticeable slow down in new updates or very long time without new issues or content in market, one would think something is going wrong with the game, resources and population.
And this announcement would not be a SHOCK.

But as far as we know, even if it wasnt a huge moneymaker, CoH was good enough for a F2P 8 years old game.

I hate NCSoft.
I feel like they kicked me out of my own home or killed a part of my life...
Also feel terrible for our awesome studio who just lost their jobs, when they are awesome proffesionals who work with passion. They are the best of the industry.

What if some miracle occur and CoH keeps going?
Let me dream about it...

This is weird, all the upcoming powersets, new awesome I24, costume sets, all the work, thrown to the trash, so suddenly?
Usually companies stop the production of new updates, before announcing a shut down.

I was too drunk last night to remember and post the code I used lol
But not too drunk because I aplied the code well, at second try

When I hit 50 I always IOd my builds to get set bonuses...
And I got preference with the newer sets over the really old ones.
Also DB has better animation, combo mechanics and more options for weapon models than katana.
I just hope redraw is not a big deal...

I think my StJ/FA brute is a monster and his build is not finished yet...
I think I want to reroll, for concepts into a weapon melee set, I know redraw sucks but... Not sure if should be DB or Katana.
I already have a DB/WP scrapper and she is a monster too...
Never tried katana past 20s...

Well, I can see something similar happening in the future.
This and maybe even origins tokens.
Another way to get money from players: instead of rerolling, which can be tedious after a while, people can change existing characters over and over, buying those powerset tokens, origin tokens, rename tokens...
They would make some money for sure. Even if this idea go against the alt friendly nature of this game...

They just can update textures and pieces, as they are doing now...

I would like to have the spiked collar moved or duplicated to detail 2 option, where we can find other similar items like the steampunk laced collar.

I would love to see some Barbarian male pieces ported to female:

Barbarian chest straps
Barbarian bracers
Barbarian belt
Barbarian shoulder rings

Also would be awesome if some of the Gunslinger stuff were a bit more basic:

The waistcape without ribbons
Corset without strips
High boots without lace and spurs! (This specially, the boots are awesome but having the spurs ruinning the use out of cowgirl/saloon girl)

Also I hope we can have the Dark Astoria Tsoo pieces, like the hats, the belt and the glowing tattoos. Those pieces are awesome.

Wondering if the fix have something to do with Celestial armor being available again soon?

They retired Celestial with the introduction of Mecha...
We still waiting for the announcement, about how and when we will be able to get it again.

With the new fix of the tinting of the metallic bits made by Dink, I cant wait to have this amor I missed by a bit of time.

Seriously? People complaining now because of that fix?
The new Celestial is exactly how it should be.
If you pick one colour for the whole armor, all the pieces should have the same colour, like shown in the pic Dink posted.
You can still get those shades of metallic if you pick the brightest/pale colour for some pieces, and use the intense darker colour in other pieces and mix it up to get the old effect, or close.
There is no way currently to have the same colour for the whole armor before the fix.

I hope you dont get tired of us, because we can be frustrating. Working to fix something to hear complains about it... Must be... dissapointing at least.

I need to do something before I24 goes live in a couple of months.
I dont have any current proyect, so I made up my mind, going to give it a try.
