Do you mean the Ouro Flashback missions or the Ouro TFs ?
If you mean Flashback missions, there's a lot of them: only for the level 45-50 content, we're talking 79 missions in 8 story arcs...
... so you'll probably need to set up several sessions to go thru them all
By the way, I'm setting up a Flashback Badges missions run next Saturday. I was not planning on doing it at the highest difficulty, but I could crank it up a bit if asked. -
Lookin' high and low, don't know where to go,
I got to double back, my friend.
The only way to find, what I left behind
I got to double back again, double back again.
My main character, Kreetch (50 Tanker) is missing a few badges that he could get thru the Flashback system. Anyone interested in joigning him ?
I was thinking of doing this next Saturday, March 27th, around 8 PM EDT
What I'm missing:
Protector of Innocents (Level 1-15)- Negotiator Badge (Break up the Clockwork and the Skulls) - 2 Merits, 1 Door Mission (Defeat All)
Keeper of Peace (Level 20-24)- Spirit Warrior Badge (Stop the Mystic Madmen) - 2 Merits, 1 Defeat All Mission
- Pwnz Badge (Retrieve Stolen Weapons From the Freakshow) - 1 Merits, 1 Door Mission
Champion (Level 25-29)- Mystical Savior Badge (Find the Pantheon: Rescue the Mystics) - 2 Merits, 1 Defeat All
Defender of Truth (Level 30-34)- Corrupter Badge (Stop the Pact) - 7 Merits, 3 Door Missions (2 Defeat All)
- War Wall Defender Badge (Defend the War Walls) - 2 Merits, 1 Door Mission
Vindicator (Level 35-39)- Frontline Badge (The Arrival of the Oranbegans) - 9 Merits, 2 Defeat Alls, 1 Talk
- The Doctor's Ally Badge (They Call Me the Doctor) - 2 Merits, 1 Door Mission
Justice Incarnate (Level 40-45)- Emancipator Badge (The Clockwork King's Psychic Signal) - 0 Merits, 1 Door Mission, 1 AV (Psychic Clockwork King)
- Multidimensional Badge (The Hydra Dimension) - 7 Merits, 2 Door Missions (2 Defeat All), 1 Talk
Hero of the City (Level 46-50)- Bodyguard Badge (The Rikti Negotiator) - 4 Merits, 2 Door Missions, 1 Talk
- Agent Badge (The Marauder's Cell) - 2 Merits, 1 Defeat All, 1 AV (Marauder)
- Shrouded Badge (Black Shroud Dimension) - 1 Merits, 1 Door Mission, 1 AV (Nightstar)
It would be straight play, no time limits or other challenges - all I want is the Accomplishment Badges -

Inside the "Programs Files \ City of Heroes" folder (or wherever the game is installed) :
- the chat log folder (usually named the same as your account name)
- the Costumes folder
- the Custom_Critter folder
- the CustomVillainGroup folder
- the Missions folder
- the PowerCust folder
- the screenshots folder
- the game log files (usually under logs\game)
- options.txt (if you have customized options)
- PlayerCreatedSouvenirClues.txt (clues from AE missions...)
and the binds folder (ex. C:\binds\)
that's all I can think of... -

Quote:Those are fightin' words, son...People check vet badges the minute they see a stranger, it's a fact (and don't let me hear someone even try to say they don't - you're FOS and everyone knows it, whoever you may be).
I don't "check vet badges the minute [I] see a stranger".
It's true I do it, sometimes, but only when the player has given me a reason to believe he or she might be a new player - and NOT to blast them, but to give 'em a hand if needed. I might not be "Mentor" material yet, but I try to do my part when I can.
And if you still believe I'm FOS, then go read about the NPWN before generalizing... -
Quote:Why hello, SterlingSteel ! Pull up a chair next to Uncle Nylonus and make yourself at home...Basicly what I'm trying to say is we are out there, we are active, and I want my SG to be more community active. I want to share the fun we have together with the rest of you. I'm rambling now, so that usually means I'm saying too much. So I'll end this post now. Thanks.
(Oh, and if my paranoia is true and the Protector Community does hate us, someone please let me know!
I have to confess: I, for one, don't hate your SG... 'cause I don't really know your SG at all.
But if you want to be more active in the community, well I think it's an excellent idea ! Witchfrost was talking about "community leaders" - if it's a role you want to assume, then give it a try: the worst that could happen is that we might get to know more about you... and THEN really hate you ! (I kid, I kid )
The next time you're logged in, just drop a line on Jello Shooters or Protector Vigilance, just to say "Hello", that's the simplest way to get the ball rolling... -
.. I was wearing my orange bowler hat at work today, and everybody was looking at me funny...

Quote:There goes another one of Protector's traditions: threadjacking !...I read this response from kidengineer in another thread, and thought the statements were worth a thread of their own.
I miss the days when Jello Shooters was actually a Protector channel.
A) Since Jello Shooters is a Global Channel, it can not be definition be restricted to only one server...
B) ... but if you mean "Jello Shooters was actually a channel patronized by people playing on the Protector server", well, from what I can see it is still mostly true: JS is my main channel when I want to join teams, and I haven't seen "LFM for a Katie on Guardian" on it yet...
... but it is also true that some of its "first hour's regulars" have gone to play on other servers, for whatever valid reasons they have (RP, PvP, friends, etc.). So what's the harm if some of them are chiming in while playing on Virtue or (shudder) Freedom ?
I miss the days when the server actually had spirit, we had a mascot, we had things like Robot Rampage and RP Task Forces (Not my thing, but still thought it was cool), we were a server of doers.
I replied to the "mascot" bit in the original thread, modesty prevents me from repeating it here...
Nowadays, we have Rush The Riktis, weekly Hami raids, StrikeForce Sundays (sp?), etc...
I miss the days when this was a close-knit community.
I would say the Christmas Cards Exchange, the recent Server Invasions, even the Mentor program are proofs that we are still a close-knit community. The problem is, we are also a much smaller community due to attrition - which is normal in a 5 years old game.
I look around today and is a little saddened. Jello shooters was silent for a good portion of the evening.
You've ever been to a pub on a Monday night ? It can be deader than a dead rat. You go to the same place on a Saturday night, and it's booming.
Global Channels also have busy periods and dead periods, one evening is not enough to generalize.
I see people complaining and I see few stepping up and doing things to better the community. WTH happened to us?
We got old ?
Now, get off my lawn !!! -
Don't want to toot my own horn, but we still have a mascot...

Quote:Zek!!!! Welcome Back !Well I'll be here with bells on! Trying to get Gresilla Hagen my db/wp scrapper to 50. She's 47.2 after last night's ding, so... crossin my fingers. Gotta go get my friend's old computer and hope we can get my old dead hard drive to boot, so I can play on a real computer, but also gotta hope that it has a wireless built in, because right now, my laptop is the only thing in the house capable of getting online.
I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!

Other suggestions (at work, can't check to see if they're legit or already taken...)

Quote:Humm... good question...If we were to have an "alternate background" for forum devs, who would be the 6 dev/community characters we'd expect to see?
War Witch (for obvious reasons),
Back Alley Brawler,
Niviene,
The Ocho...
I'm kind of at a loss for the last 2. Do Sexy Jay and Pohsyb have in-game characters ? -
Naaah, GA just wants to make a character named "Ralph Kramden"
