Lucard's gaze was now fixed upon Leon, a fear inducing stare which made the few remaining people behind Leon cower and run in fear.
    Leon's grin merely widened as the attempted stare-down. Staring-out was for amateurs, something his old swords master had beaten into him back in the Old Days. He either side stepped the bullets with a slightl blur in the air, deflected any that were within an easy movement, or simply let them hit him. The wounds remained as expected for a few moments, before healing over, the bullets coughing back out to clink on the floor.

    "Well, he looked like a second-hand fur rug anyway," he said, walking calmly ever closer to Lucard. "And I thought you might have learned that those thing's don't so well on me, after last time. Might be time to upgrade, old chap. Ever considered one of those new fangled miniguns? Might be more accurate comenpsation for that which you lack," he added with a smirk.

  4. This fellow, on the Sister Psyche TF no less, uses a PC character model by the looks of it.
    And he has the crey apron thing;

    I will kill whoever needs killing to get that piece in game.

    "Oh, I dunno, Lucard old chap," Leon retorted with a condescending little chuckle. "You haven't given me much evidence to the contrary yet."
    Without looking round he stabbed the katana backwards, running some sort of monstrous wolf-bear-man thing through with the blade at the waist. Ducking and turning slightly, he brought the blade straight up with a horrific sound of severed flesh, muscle and bone, the creature falling back in two not-quite-severed halves. With a little tut, Leon wiped the blade clean on its fur.
    "Now then...I believe we owe each other a dance?" he added with a grin, tugging his hat slightly more firmly onto his head.

    Grinning widely, Lucard unloaded half the clips of his guns, aiming at Leon and the hunter.
    Leon merely sighed.
    His right arm didn't blur. It just became a shifting mass in the air. The air sang as bullets richocheted away, deflected by the blade. He finished with his right arm held crossways over his chest, the blade facing down. He reached his other hand under the arm, flipping the fingers tauntingly.
    "I'd expect better than that, old man," he grinned, before blinking out of existance to reappear in front of the table, boot already planted on it, before shunting it visciously into Lucard.

    There was a ringing metallic *clang* that would make a few ears and more sensetive teeth in the establishment ache.
    Leon had moved across the room in the blink of an eye, and now stood between Lucard and the loud-mouthed hunter. Even as people watched, the single crushed bullet slid off the katana that he held horizontal, the blade once more appearing from nowhere. There was a quiet ping as the metal hit the floor.

    "I know loud noises are a little uncouth, but that's a little un-sportsman-like, dontcher think, chap?" Leon gave Lucard a condescending smile, one eye gleaming from beneath the brim of the hat.
  8. Something we dont have access too, for reasons unknown;

    Cabal hat with hair and the ragged skirt;

    Oddly, the Cabal mobs themselves all seem to be bald (which looks HORRIBLE). Yet the tech is clearly there for the hat with hair. What gives?

    Still want this and the Kheldian sashes.
    VEATs get their unique costume parts, why dont Kheldians?
    And No, just running the shield is not a suitable 'fix'. Why? Because it looks like your stuck in a giant, glowing hamster ball, thats why.

    Lusca in particular has extremely low rewards for the amount of time it takes to defeat all the tentacles and the head. I would award at least 1 merit per part.

    Another reward that would spur interest in giant monsters would be to have a guaranteed set recipe drop for your level from all pools. So you might win the lottery and get a Luck of The Gambler +recharge or you might get a Lethargic Repose. But I think just having the chance at getting a good recipe would encourage participation from players at all levels.
    Oi oi ^

  11. Leon chuckled, shaking his head slightly at the newcomer. Returning to staring at Lucard, he merely raised an eyebrow at the gun barrel on the table, grinning as he placed a cigarette between his teeth and lit it with the small flame that hovered over his thumb once he snapped his fingers.
    Things were about to get interesting, it seemed.
  12. Yeah, I want to know where the heck that little animations from. It's hilarious for some reason

  14. Now thats kinda nifty. And another reason why I wish we could get assymetry in the CC
  15. Leon watched out of the corner of his eye. As 'Wraps' moved away, he gave him a subtle nod and a half-hidden thumbs up.

    Then he turned his head, staring straight at Lucard with a smirk and a devil-may-care wink.
  16. Level 3 I dont skip, because it gives you a whole 4 extra insp slots.
    Other than that, if the trainer is en route to the next mission I'll pick it up, if not it can wait

    Yes, Batman would probably do us all a favour by killing The Joker, and would probably save many innocent lives in the process. But does that mean we need to round up and kill all convicted murderers, or criminals and execute them?

    Does it matter if we kill off all Skulls, Hellions, Trolls etc in the name of the greater good? The author seems to think it is a price worth paying for a safe and civilised society, yet its not as simple as that. Are Hellions really "evil" or simply misguided and misunderstood youths? Are Trolls really beyond redemption? I seem to remember a pleasant one in The Hollows.

    The author states that wiping out the "bad eggs" of society would be better for humanity as a whole, but this is dangerous talk. Its interesting to see how close to the line people can get to before they realise they've just jumped over it.
    Theres a difference between giving people second and even thrid chances, and paying out of the taxpayers money to keep a multi-serial-killer in a cell thats more like a 5 star hotel room.
    In the words of a wise man;
    "Some people just want to watch the world burn."
  18. A tall but non-descript figure walked in quietly, leaning on the bar and ordering a drink with a flick of a coin. Dressed in a well-worn black jacket and black jeans, topped with a wide black brimmed hat that was both cowboy and yet not at the same time, the figure was one of the less noticeable in the bar.

    Behind ruby glasses, Leon DeFeurard sipped his drink and smirked to himself. It was time to dig a little deeper into this whole mess.
  19. Part of me wishes GG would read that. The rest of me just knows she'd respond with a one liner and that damned wink.

    For my part, I agree with the article. In The Dark Knight Returns, it seems to finally dawn on Batman '"how many innocents I've murdered - by letting you live", in reference to the Joker.

    Whats harder? To let a psychopathic murderer life because you are 'better than that', to stroke your own ego and think yourself civilised? Or to shoulder that burden of blood on your hands but no one elses, and to make sure he never harms another person?

    It's ridiculous

    This is how much I approve;

  21. Hmm. Think the arguements so far have been pretty compelling, actually.
    It's a shame, though, because it seems like quite a neat power.

    I think the best thing would maybe be something like Omega Maneuver. I don't really know tbh.
    Was interesting reading the replies, anyhow

    Verdict: Good solo, terrible on teams, takes too long to set up.

    I'm confused*
    I was more of a joke about how 'teams' for MMs, especially Bots/Traps, are sometimes refered to as 'Those other seven pets that dont follow orders'

    Not to say I'm against something that'd make Time Bomb more workable. Maybe something like the Crab Spiders Omega Maneuver, which is very much made of win.
    But Time Bomb is also fairly decent at making fireworks too, IMO anyhow

    yeahhhhhh.
    Pretty much this.

    All I really get from this is the same fuss kicked up when they made EATs unlock at 20 not 50;
    "We did it the hard way, why can't they?!"

    Which is no decent arguement by any stretch of the imagination.

A Devices Blaster can potentially solo much larger spawns than most other blasters (assuming he's willing to take the time to set it up) but those tactics just don't work on a team except in very limited circumstances or if the Blasters doesn't stay with the team.
    Meh, maybe thats why I like it then. I play a Bots/Traps MM

    That last part of your post absolutely shreds any credibility you have on this topic. NO blaster is such an intergral part of any team dynamic that 7 other players should stand by for 9 seconds so the blaster can drop all the even-con minions every 100 seconds or so with a perma hasten build.

    In your mind 7 other people not waiting while you plant bombs is a negative reflection on them as gamers?

    I hope in the future you refrain from offering up such garbage posts. I won't speak for anyone else but I cannot imagine most reasonable forum goers not marking your posts as perma-ignored.
    Wow. Thanks for basically slamming any right I have to an opinion.
    I guess the ammount of times I've seen blasters say 'Nuking next mob' or the like is just a figment of my imagination then.

    The thing is, your misunderstanding my intentions. I'm not trying to 'sway people'. I'm just saying that, having tried it, I now don't understand the hate quite so much. I'm not saying people are wrong to not like it. People will still take powers that I avoid like the plague, and vice versa. I was merely interested to see why other people didn't like it so much.

    The answer to that seems to be 'It takes too long'. Thats fair enough. Eachy to their own.
    But kindly refrain from insulting me. Thanks.
