So, I can use a blaster and skip powers in both my primary AND my secondary to take stuff like tough and weave and stealth, all of which pretty much suck (in comparison) to try and get something workable, effectively shooting my effectiveness in the foot;

Or I can use the SoA AT and be stuck with only three kinda meh gun options BUT get better rifle attacks actual armour, effective stealth and generall not have to gimp and penalise myself to fit the concept better.

Want to be a light/energy blaster, but want some actual shields? Sorry! No such AT...unless you jack a Peacebringer into the place instead.

Want a gunman that has, y'know, actual body armour? Or a gun that isn't some horrible franken-gun mess of all sorts of crap? Well, you pretty much either cant', OR you use a Soldier of Arachnos.

I try not to contradict game lore and canon, sure. But I'll be damned if im told I CANT use an AT any damn way I want. The game was made for the players, players were not made for the game. WE take precedence, or else we wouldnt be playing.

I didn't mention Lineage, due to how I cant judge it, as I've never played it. I have played WoW and EVE, albeit WoW was only the trial. But both of them are exactly the same as what is being described; grinding for gear to grind for gear to- etc.

If this guy wins, then EVERY MMO company would have to be sued as well. Because thats how the vast majority of them work.

Yeah, the KoA arent that hard to kill...its just, if your a melee fighter, the caltrops are insanely infuriating. That, and the bosses have an insane duration stun grenade that can have squishies stunned for about 30-40 seconds. Which is LONG. And they crit from stealth, which can be immensely punishing.

I take it you've never played WoW. Or EVE. Or pratically any other MMO under the sun (barring CoX, from my experiences)

The guy is a blatant, real life troll. Its been proven that games can be addictive. What did he expect? That a magical pixie would come out and give him treats and cookies for...something? Seriously, the idiocy of the 'victim' is on galactic levels.

I can't place what year it was when the gaming and film industries sold their souls to the greater demons of marketting and 'franchising'. But it was a sad year.
I know that games and films should be able to make money, and need to as well. But that shouldnt be a result of 'targetted marketing' and 'agressive advertising and publicity initiatives' or 'franchising', and all those other depraved marketting terms that sold themseleves the day they were made.
It should be because the movies and games are GOOD and worth watching/playing! This is why every single movie adaption game to date has been a steaming pile of turd!

The artwork shot there looked interesting. Will be interested to see how it turns out, myself. Witholding judgement until a later date though.

Apparently when the 5th vanished back in I3, they actually deleted the old Axis America files. All of them.
I wish they would re-build the proper Axis America units, rather than being stuck with the lame Council stand ins. Its especially noticeable on the bosses.
