Yea, but you say it and make it sound like your S*** dont stink, and that AOW is the best thing down the pipe since SF.....

whooooooa hold up on that decision quite yet mister.... We have Several brand new people to CoH and all have a srs intrest in "learning" pvp. BlueDarkness and I, along with 7-8 other all had a discussion about this in vent yesterday.
The major concern that these new people have is the same concern that many have had for some time now....
Going into pvp to learn, and their first and only lesson is in the form of a foot being shoved up their a z z repeatedly by some idiot pvp'er that is in it just for the joy of "lets kick sand in some noob's faces"
Now dont get me wrong, I do understand that pvp is about killing the other person, but when is enough really enough?
How many times have you gone into a zone and been outnumbered, and been killed 82 different times just because they enjoy killing you over and over?
Maybe, just maybe if we see someone dieing over and over and over.... we could "stop" killing them long enough to find out if their new.... and possibly offer some of the knowledge you've picked up from others through the years to them? Just a thought.
I know we have 6-7 people in P.o.N that were new to the game, not yet in P.o.N at this time, and went into Warburg and Rv to check it out. Asked someone there to "show them the ropes" of pvp and the person agreed. The person then went on to kill them over and over, and when they said "what exactly am I learning here besides how to die in 5 seconds?" the response they got was "Welcome to PVP B I T C H"
Wow....Champion server the home not of champions, but of rude A z zholes I guess.
That person has now sworn off pvp and will not even attempt it even after Elf and I, and several others all agreed to show them about pvp, and hang out in the pvp zone's with them.
Look I'm not trying to say we should be the lovey dovey server, the server that cares, or anything of the kind. I'm just saying maybe, just maybe if we took the time to show people how much fun pvp can be, and not just take them in and kick their teeth out, They might enjoy it? Just thinking outside that crazy box again.
I think the first steps toward this were taken by one of Champions, and all servers elite pvp'ers.... So Enemy, dont you go anywhere. We NEED you here on Champion, Where the real "Champions" belong.

At some point werent Blasters waaaaay over powered?

At some point werent Dominators waaaaay over powered?
At some point werent Scrappers waaaaay over powered?
At some point werent Widows waaaaay over powered?
At some point werent Forts waaaaay over powered?

Hmmmmm so what im thinking here is if they would have left everything alone.... Then we would have a game about actual SUPER HEROES and SUPER VILLIANS.

They take away AE, after giving it and FULLY KNOWING what it was capable of producing. Yet they have done nothing about purple Io's that sell for 250-500million each.
Shocking.
They have cut the effectiveness of farming down to the most minimal impact possible. thus cutting the influence earning potential for the purple io's mentioned earlier, But still did nothing to effect market values.
Shocking.
Soooooo I guess bottom line is this.....
Wouldnt it be great if the DEVS, mods, owners, stock holders, or whoever it may be, just took the time to LISTEN to some of the people with the suggestions.... and not just the ones suggesting PINK IMPS

THe subject gets the point across I suppose. I came back during the free reactivation and fell inlove with the game all over again. I realize alot of the SG's i remember are either gone or innactive. I miss alot of my old friends. and the old stomping grounds of Portal Corp / Atlas are always empty. Where the hell is everyone?!

Are base raids coming back or not. I think we have all waited long enough, and although some may think that having the option of pink imps is what makes this game fun, intresting, and keeps people coming back, I know that a ton of us out here are wanting PVP, Base Raiding, CoP trial, And the OLD HAMI RAIDS !!!!
Give us back that which made the game the most fun plz!!!!!

I have been a "customer" of this game for 5 years, currrently have 13 accts active, 121 lvl 50 toons (118 hero- 3 villians)
I will be attending hero con with the sole purpose of getting some answers to THESE questions. It seems like the devs feel if they pretend these are not issues or concerns, they will simply go away.

We have over come the 179million point lead held by the SG we used to know as Stryke Force, and have taken back the Rank of #1 Prestige earning Sg.
