    Edit: Particularly to /EA....why not give it end drain resistance like Electric armor? As it stands, EA has ghetto end drain resistance. If they can't hit you, they can't drain your end but if they *do* hit you, it's good bye endurance.

    Not to be nit picking but there really wasn't much more you could do to help /EA ?

    With these changes it's almost like you have to take every single power in /EA. While that's not the case with /SR, /Nin/ or /WP(stalker version).

    Ex,

    are you referring to O2 boost from Storm summoning or /thermal /sonic secondaries that corruptors get. (I know it seems like a dumb question but I'm asking because you already mentioned storm summoning earlier in your post so I figure I'd ask anyways)

    Last I checked, clarity isn't available by SC and Thaw doesn't give +perception.

    Jeez, calm down when i13 comes out, all will be good, but for now I think we'll survive with what we've got currently. The game isn't going anywhere.


    While it may not have contained any new info, at least CoV got an updated article on IGN's site and maybe we'll have some new people subscribing to the game. ANY form of advertisement for this game is a great thing seeing as how there's very little currently.

    What the [censored] are you smoking? Are you serious? You can indeed stack the same Clear minds or Clarity or thaw from the same caster, in essence upping their mez protection.

    Clarity is not available before SC level(for corruptors). CM for heroes grants + perception, yet villains get no +perception for any AT's except stalkers. Not balanced. Thaw should grant +perception and Clarity should also be be moved around the sonic powerset to be available by SC level.

    Tell me, which villain AT is able to power boost their build up and AIM, basically nullifying any defense based set's tier 9?
    Also tell me how it's fair to have lesser values for build up/Aim for stalkers and corruptors compared to Defenders and blasters?

    Yet heroes, got thermal radiation, and villain got what? Storm summoning, yet it's not nearly as powerful as the defender version. Let's also not forget that a controller's melt armor can be power boosted and so can Forge ...which would boost the +to-hit Forge grants. Only cold domintors can powerboost, but the recharge on it is twice as long.

    Villains got storm, but heroes also got cold dominatio for defenders. Even before it's powerboosted, it's got crazy stupid higher values than the corruptor veresion. Once it's PB'ed it's just [censored] overpowered.

    Did I also mention the blatant imbalance between APP vs PPPs?

    No, you're wrong. Villains are at a disadvantage.

    Balanced out PPPs compared to APPs and the re working of build up/aim values for corruptors/stalkers/brutes compared to defenders and blasters.

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why don't the Devs just make a new addition to all stalker powers, when you click any attack you turn bright pink and start flashing, then after 2 seconds take 18000 damage. Since they apparently wont do anything to fix Placate. Why doesn't it work in PVP like it does in PVE?? it works fine there, both when we placate enemies and when we are placated by them. Why do they refuse to fix something that is obviously broken? Lets recap what we know... Stalkers have less health, defense, and damage as Scrappers. Our best defense is to stay hidden, and strike when the time is right. By stacking Stealth, Stealth IO, and Hide we have a Stealth range of 1143(around this) Now the perception cap is 5 less than max stealth, so 1138. However the catch is anytime we move into the range of some enemy's aura power, (ie hot feet, rise to the challenge, chilling embrace) it negates your Stealth and Stealth IO, now our stealth range is reduced to 500 (from hide) and yet everyones perception is still at 1138. So now if we have attacked already and left a mark on the enemy (ie.. -def etc) our placate is worthless. What part of THIS POWER IS BROKE DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This seriously needs to be fixed.

    You must be doing something terribly wrong on your stalker.
    Ok, if a controller has hot feet down, you obviously can't AS. Do the next best thing, total focus while hidden which crits and it'll stun them. While they're popping that BF, either placate + AS, or just straight up ET them and try to finish them off.

    I agree that placate being bugged is annoying and should be fixed, but there's not need to come off like it's absolutely game breaking. It's annoying, but jeez calm down.

    I agree that EA should have either soft capped defense/resistance to energy (Personally I think it should be defense).

    Something no one has pointed out yet, is that Ninjitsu comes out on top (in my subjective opinion). Sha, your self heal, give toxic resistance. Rin (status protection), gives 29.14 resistance to psi (numbers taken from the combat attributes on my stalker). I'll also add, Rin can be double stacked with hasten and 2 recharge IOs. That's 58.28 resistance to Psi damage right there. Which I've managed to double stack it for about 45-48 seconds. Pretty good resistance to Psi if you ask me. (Not to mention you get mag 20 resistance to confuse, fear, etc while it's double stacked)

    This is completely irrelevant, but if I team with a VEAT all they have to do is pop mind link and my Res to psi is capped out at 75%. The Psi hole is basically completely negated in my opinion.

    I'd beg to differ. Nin seems to a pretty damn good defensive set.
    Especially when you put it side by side with EA.


    Nin is able to heal up lost HP, resistant against Psi, SR has the scalable resistance (which can be enhanced. Let's also not forget to mention it's a heck of a lot easier to soft cap an SR than it is a /EA imo), invul's got dull pain, Ice's got hoarfrost (res to toxic), Fire's got healing flames (which also has resistance toxic).


    What does EA have to handle toxic or psi?

    I'm well aware of overload granting extra HP, but before someone calls me out on that one, does that extra HP, really mitigate the incoming psi/toxic damage as well as other sets? The way I see it you were able to increase your max HP.......great. But unlike dull pain or hoarfrost, you didn't heal any of your current HP. The extra HP granted from overload is not good enough to use as a mitigating factor in the set, against Psi or toxic(in my opinion).

    That's like saying, the fix for EA is purple inspirations.

    I couldn't even read the rest of your post because it just was too hard to comprehend that you think the devs introduced VEATs to "fix" /EA. Using that logic, they should've done the same for SR. And instead of changing MoG, they should've added some passives or powers to another AT to help regen scrappers/stalkers right?

    More like realists. Like I stated above, look at placate. Still not fixed. I'd rather accept the fact that they probably won't buff /EA anytime soon rather than hope they'll fix it next patch.
