Rumour Mill. Gotta love it.
And I'd trust it as far as I could throw a mountain. -
Ha! Be careful what you wish for...

Quote:And the EU Test Charactert Transfer system is broken.EU people, the EU version is available on the normal EU test.
So if you have an EU test set up Golden Girl, you will get access.
Yes I did say EU a lot...so EU to you!
AGAIN.
Like it is every. Damn. Beta.
Not sodding amused, I tellya

It does. And thank you for the patronising tone; I'm sorry that not having information is a mite annoying for me when I go to try and post and find that I can't because I don't know enough about whats going on to do so.
-
Over 11+ Hours here, now. No, this isnt normal service.
No, its not good, either. No idea when it'll get fixed... -
-
I'm not afraid to say it;
EU got shafted on Test. Again. -
So, wait, where the hell's Tomb ended up? This is all a little hard to keep track of.
-
Apparently the transfer even beat up Lag Hill; SG friends said they ran into no lag where theres usually loads.
However, I wasnt there, so I cant attest wether it was true or not. May run an ITF to double check. Sceptical, but if it were true it'd be awesome. -
Quote:Everyone can fly...but those who have fly and even one slot it will go faster.Yet now, ever more changes, often labelled 'quality of life', come up that give characters something that once set the characters apart. Like,
- Everyone can fly now. (Jump packs for unlimited sale, fly speed enhanced.)
- Everyone can teleport now with teleport powers to anything you'd ever want to teleport to.
- Everyone gets super fast movement and super high jumpability now with inherent Fitness pool. Even those who never wanted it.
- Everyone gets super Regeneration and super Endurance now, there's not even an option any more to take something else instead.
- Everyone that took the Fitness pool before now can choose one of the power pools and three of the few powers he had to opt out of before, meaning everyone is closer to being able to take every power they find interesting.
But when everybody can do and have everything, wont the game be super dull and boring?
(And when everybody has hundreds of powers from this and that and innate and accolades and temps and dayjob temps and event temps and superdupersystem temps wont they become meaningless because you cant remember them all anyway?)
Will there still be a distinct feel to each character and will there be room for an exciting game experience?
NOT everyone can go super fast and super jumpy. Inherent swift and hurdle just means we now run the same speed as the NPCs do from level 1, rather than having to turn on sprint to catch a random thug.
Teleporting TO something is not the same as teleport. Not by a long shot.
Given nigh on everyone had Stamina anyway, this is a really daft thing to complain about.
Uh......Yes. Exactly. They can take powers they find INTERESTING, not three powers that, if they dont have them, they will suck. Because thats pretty much everyone took Stamina; because ending up running out of endurance repeatedly is a little thing called NOT FUN.Quote:Everyone that took the Fitness pool before now can choose one of the power pools and three of the few powers he had to opt out of before, meaning everyone is closer to being able to take every power they find interesting.
*shrug* Your entitled to your opinion, just dont expect everyone to agree with it when a lot of these things ARE QoL that a lot of people asked for for a long time. -
Seriously, someone left the damn thing in Germany during the transfer.
"Character transfer may take up to 30 minutes"
Yeah? That was Ten. Damn. Hours ago.
Sweet naff all point EU players trying to test stuff in Beta when we can't even get valid characters over to test the new Incarnate stuff.
Oh, we could just use the level bump- Oh, how silly of me, that only applies to US test, naturally!
Getting real sick of this every damn Beta period. I'm not one to post rant posts like this, but this is starting to get on my wick.
-
Transfered a character last night (Over ten hours ago) because even though he didnt have the Alpha slot from I18 Beta, Ramiel refused to play ball.
STILL waiting on him to transfer over, since my other 50 does have the slot, and none of my other characters can get the level bump that the US servers get and Eu, surprise surprise, dont.
No point asking us to test the damn stuff if we cant get the characters over to test it
-
Just shush....bloody char transfer is being lame, because I had to delete the Alpha on test due to, even though he didnt have the slot from I18 test, Ramiel still refused to talk to him.

Quote:This is what makes me think that 'Limitless Radial Freeem' is not a joke power, but something that is a brief glimpse of you at...well, maybe not full Incarnate Power. But a 'Future You' that can cause something like the melted down Ouroborous we see in the screenies. And strong enough to consider all those AVs as just another mob.
The process starts with you going to Ouroboros and meeting a man named Mender Ramiel. He is from the future, a future you helped him escape from. You are asked to re-live that experience through his memories, and in the process of playing that Story Arc you will begin your path to becoming an Incarnate.
I may be reading too much into it. But that'd be damn cool.
Way off topic, but;
This made me lol Very original, eh?

Quote:And the person who somehow had a US version of it on the forums hadnt logged in for years when we had the forum merger. So I'll be willing to fight them off with fire, lasers and death should anyone contest MY name@Techbot Alpha - I personally feel that changing my global nick would be a very small price to pay for this.
-
I think I've had a grand total of two characters that have remained unchanged and will continue to do so (capes dont count). Alpha completely defies any attempts at changing his main costume. I dunno what it is. Possibly the fact he looks small and spindly and yet, somehow, still a little dangerous. And thats only accentuated by the bots.
The other is my Peacebringer, Luminescent Spark. Sparkys looks is the only spandex costume I have ever made that clicked instantly. Again, the cape didnt count and, while I'll give her an armoured variant in the future, it won't replace the default costume that is so very much 'her'. -
Quote:Well, I had terribad luck with my first and to date only LRSF run (**** you, arc locked SFWhy do people keep saying things like this?
I only did the STF 3 times (villainside player
), all on PuGs or half-PuGs, and never had a granite tanker. Invul, willpower and fire. All completed without to much difficulty.
I can tank the LRSF on my invul brute, without much problems, and he isn't purpled or softcapped. (I built him for +life. Yes, for concept reasons. I don't have hasten for the same reason.)
All you need is a *team* of people who know how to play. They don't even need to have done the particular TF/SF before.
) We had a full team of very competant players, we steamrollered all the missions...except the last one. The Phalanx must have had their weetabix that day, either that or Numina had gone buff happy when we were trying to get ready. They mauled us. Over and over. They even mauled our Vengeanced Shivans.
So, yeah. I have yet to do a LRSF all the way through... That was the first time in recent history that Alphas capped Defences have failed me.
