Yea on Pinnacle we had a bunch of fotm forts who thought they were tough. Then they got nerfed and they all quit the game. Only time they ever pvp'd was with overpowered fotm's. WWemo ftl

the changes were 2 issues ago. adapt and move on.

I've been in RV a few times with my em/stone brute and it's so damn frustrating mostly because of the mobility issues. So I waste end trying to tp into position to attack and the end up getting hosed by blasters. I also noticed that I never see any /stone brutes in RV (I play on Guardian and Freedom). My question being is /stone an obsolete build for pvp? If not then how would I "fix" the downfalls?

I bring my stone in rv all the time. Use taunt on the ranged to make them have to get closer to you. Also would help if you can mez them somehow. Also a ton of recharge will help.

My schedule got changed!

No Thursday off this week.... Mon and Tues.... and there's already so many things going on those days!

I'm workin like hell to get it changed back, but it's not gonna happen this week....

...course, that doesn't mean some of the faithfull can't pull it together to run ThurHESSday while I'm away!...

Maybe Odie, Cheeky, Xan, Jerm, Paladin, Cobaltix, FUNK, Ronin, Claws, Ferny, OoBe, Munky, Wini, Hawkeyed (whom I STILL owe 4 hours!) and BBGirl with all the PUN toons-(who we know is MIA for awhile)... to name a few... could keep ThurHESSday alive...

I've enjoyed and appreciated all those that have enjoyed doing the TF as much as I have and I'll try to be back as soon as I can...

This is very important and I think it needs to get out into the open. I saw a NITES hero supergroup that Quarktease was a member of, but he's the only person I've seen of that supergroup since I started playing.

ANYWAY... I need to check out the PvP recipes, but that might just get me jumpstarted on updating my PvP builds for the i13 changes.

1) Are the PvP recipes level-specific to which zone you earn them in?
2) Does Pinnacle have any actively PvPing hero SGs? I know who to join forces with redside, but all my hero PvP acquaintances are gone.

With the addition of the new PvP recipes that drop off of PvP kills and the difficulty of some of the new created Mission Architect content, it seems as the PvP zones will be filling up again with the people going for nukes/shivan temp powers and the people farming those players.

Just a reminder that your Rank 1 VG, Nites of Darkness will be a huge presence in your adventures in pvp zones when it finally goes live.

Always Glad to see Odacer and Cheeky on the team (their ALTs Stubborn and Bubble Popper), The FUNK man joined in on an "X" toon, Flying Katana made an encore appearance...

Funk made Very quick work of the minimum defeats challenge...( Listen dude, if yer gonna play a Blueside toon... How about slotting it?? )

and near the end of the first mission Tappet (the sensitive Controller) decided to bail out because folks told her NOT to use confuse that is was uneeded... apparently this didn't suit her playstlye and she PM'd me that she'd only stop using if if I told her... I asked if there were other powers she could use like her Immob or holds they are ALWAYS useful... but she didn't like standing around, I replied " Yer a Controller! lol That's what they do!"... and she promptly left the team...



ANYway...

After FUNK Swept the min Defeats counter all by himself, the Seven man team went on to CRUSH yet another attempt by Burkholder to launch the Giant Robot in just over an Hour .. 64 minutes!!

There were plenty XP and Salvage gathered along with our 19 Merits!
