I'd have thought that an Invuln tanker wouldnt need to get any S/L def bonuses..

Surely mez resist being on a clicky is ok, because you just click it when it's up, not when you're in a jam, doesn't require much attention in my book. /SR is one of the more hands-off secondaries in my book.
Also, Brutes, along with MMs, are THE ATs for people who want to solo AVs, and many people post about their brutes soloing AVs (without shivans, sometimes without insps too) on the US forums. -
Assailant, you say that SR has too many clickies, when it has the same number as WP :S Practised Brawler and Elude.
I object to you with your definition of a brute. The brute is THE destructive AT, and should be incredibly powerful versus both single targets AND lots of them, though sets and builds adjust the focus. You'll notice how most of the powers in the sets are ST, and how some sets have only very weak AoE.
A brute is whatever you want it to be, and they start being incredibly powerful (as opposed to good) after 22 (SOs) IMO. -

Meh Tanking = Taunt Spamming *ducks behind the cover
Seriously that will be a good idea as leveling most tanks 'till stamina can be pain. For tanking, well thanks to Saxtus i know some basics and can help you. Blasters and Tankers two ATs make you feel real heroic if you ask me. Blasters with their damage output make you feel power in your finger tips, tankers on the other hand make you feel invincible. You can stand there and laugh while those punny villians strain themselves to hurt you a bit.
[/ QUOTE ]Brute is the ultimate combination of the two but this is a heroside team =P -
We could have a whole second team leveling up behind the scenes if we wanted to with leveling pacts! But I think pacting with each other within this team is a more down to earth idea. Dunno though, having backup chars ready to use at the right level if a certain AT can't make it would be handy.
I'll think about what character I want to roll today, will probably be a blaster or defender. -
Well this saturday I am busy, but other saturday nights sound fine!
-
Just throwing an idea out there - all flying team? Just a random thought.
-
Good to see you back Knightly! And maybe we can put together a team sometime soon.
-
The Kheldian Cosmic Balance and Dark Sustinance seem to be mutually exclusive with the forms, but that's been changed in the game hasn't it?
Thanks for the update, anyway -
Ok rolled a shield/ice tanker called The Fighting Fridge.
-
Okay, when's this going to start then, now we have i13?
-
The shield character that I was thinking of making anyway was dark melee/sheilds scrapper, and somehow I think that it would take too much RP hax to pretend to be PPD...
-
Sounds cool, do you have any restrictions in what melee sets our shielders pick?

I'm liking that Darkest Night.
[/ QUOTE ]I just wish it was chill of the night instead of darkest night -
But there's still a certain % chance to hold seperate from accuracy calculations isn't there?

Dual Bristols

Lonelyshade, toggle powers in general have trivial costs compared to attacks, which can cost above 1 end per second each!
-
Elec armour pales in mitigation to other secondaries IMO. Even fire surpasses it, thanks to the heal. Got a SS/Elec to 50 and to be honest the secondary is not that great, it seems that most of the others do a better job.
-
Just a thought, perhaps reason elec armour and melee hasn't been proliferated is the work to make it blue?

How about this for Air Supremacy- Only able to be activated while hover/fly is active, gives good -fly res, kb protection, and some def.

and more endurance to be trained away.....
[/ QUOTE ]If it's a bit of a mix between acro and weave, with the penalty of having to be using hover, then it's cheap at the price IMO. -

A nice dam buff could make all the difference in the fun factor.
