Thanks! Again, Tatious deserves all the credit on this one, she really did an awesome job.
-
I recently commissioned some artwork of one of my characters, Tiena, the Solarkinetic.
For reference, here is a collage of screenshots of her.
And here is what the ultra amazing Tatious came up with:
The Solarkinetic!
Needless to say, I am super-jazzed about the piece.
FYI, she's still taking commissions. I saw the flatcolor version of this image, before she shaded and lighted it, and it looked amazing as well, and her flatcolor commissions are going for only $5 right now!
Go, give her work, turn her into a CoH junkie. -

I can add it later if anyone requests is, but from my knowledge i don't believe i know anyone who still gets it.

/Energy Melee Tanks are forced to take Barrage, so you still might want to include it just for comparisons sake between Tanks, Brutes, and Stalkers.
[/ QUOTE ]
Roger that, Didn't even think about that!
[/ QUOTE ]
And, for completeness, you could compare Barrage to Power Thrust for Blasters, and Thunder Kick for Scrappers. That's the Tier 1 for everyone. -
*a BLAPPER enters the thread*
Here comes a new challenger!
Ahem.
Try and keep up with me.
That is all. -
This guide gets 5 stars just for adding screenshots!
Bravo. -
Addendum:
When you -uncheck- the copy colors across costume option, do not be on the Trenchcoat interior option. That will reset the colors back to the original.
Just select another option once you have your colors chosen, then set the rest of the costume colors to what you want. -
Gah, need money to get a commission done... -_-
-
Shhh, you'll spoil the reverse psychology!
Damn, too late -

They would reverse ED before they gave Blasters MoG.

Or even better... They would give us Blasters Moment of Glory...
Then remove Defiance! -

I use a special, Luminara-only "oh crap" power. It involves the release of bodily fluids and a loooooooooooooooooooooot of screaming. It hasn't failed me so far!

yeah, but what's the recharge time on that? -
Here's another handy Tip.
"How to make money on a Respec"
Let's say you've gotten ahold of a Respec. It can be one you've earned via the Respec Trial, or a Freespec given by the Dev Team. Now let's say you are thinking about changing your powers around, and some of your slotting.
Save That Respec.
Wait until a 2 or 7 level, from 22 on. As soon as you level up, but BEFORE you buy enhancements, Use That Respec.
Now, pick your powers, and pick your slots. Now you've come to the step where you slot your enhancements, and sell what you don't use.
Don't Slot Anything.
Sell them all back, and the game buys them at FULL PRICE. That's right, the game buys them back from you, as if you were the store, and they wanted a level 35 Accuracy Enhancement. The Respec buys them back from you for FAR more than you could get selling that enhancement to the store yourself.
I recommend doing this at 32, 37, and 47, if you can pull it off.
Best of luck! -
Ok, after much laziness on my part, I give you
Yusaku's Guide to the Energy/Energy BLAPPER [I7]
Sorry it took so long to update, I was just procrastinating. -
Hey, nice little read here. Still have to get used to the new Scale of damage calculation (I'm not a math junkie), so I can't comment on your numbers, but they look right.
Just one minor comment to add to Conserve Power.
I use both Stamina and Conserve Power myself, and agree that CP is a situational power, but the situation it's useful for happens a lot.
Spot big group of bad guys. Conserve Power, Build Up, Aim, Nuke, eat a blue candy, continue to kick [censored] while waiting for the -Recovery to wear off.
Conserve Power is ideal in the Post Nuke world of play. Before that, it's not necessary, but it sure helps in those long fights. -
Just a quick correction. Whirlwind now provides Knock Back, not Knock Up. They changed this around the start of Issue 6.

I have search for an hour and I tried to make the bind myself but no luck he just says what I told him to say and stand there.
I want him to say a phrase then do his power ending in costume change and maybe a pose. How do I do this?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, the first thing is, what powersets do you have? That determines what Powers you have available for the costume change.
Secondly, the costume change itself is instantaneous. So unless you are a peacebringer with the blinding flash power, or a teleporter, you'll most likely want to delay the actual costume change, and do it manually via macro at the appropriate moment. -
Well written guide, but a couple of notes for you:
Missions 10 amd 11 are Defeat Boss and guards. No need to clear all. I have tested this a few times myself. Just need to clear the room the boss is in, and the mission is complete.
Mission 14, anyone can talk to Positron for the Temp Power, same as the first time you talk to him.
Mission 15 can be in either Skyway City or Steel Canyon.
Other than that, nice work. -

Magpie, that is by far, the CUTEST avatar I've ever seen... squeee! -
Just off the top of my head, pretty much anything goes with anything. But if you're looking for a duo that helps and supports each other, I would suggest a Melee/Support combo. Scrapper/Controller, Tanker/Blaster, Scrapper/Defender... something along those lines.
Melee to draw the initial agro, Support to do whatever that AT does best, to back up the Melee.
But above all, pick two AT's that you can have fun with!
Good luck! -
My first Guide, Yusaku's Guide To The Energy/Energy BLAPPER For I6 .
Any chance we can get a sub-section on the list for Blapper Builds? Since they are such a huge departure from the Blaster Mold, and all.
