City Of Heroes was my first and only video game so it took me time to learn how to play Guildwars2, but I kept on, and I am very happy with my choice.
Ok, serious face, I know NCSOFT is a wildcard, and will close down games if the fancy hits them, but, nothing lasts forever...
Guildwars2 has no subscription fee, just buy the box and you are good to go.
And it is a beautiful game. Some days I log in and just explore.

GW2 is a really beautiful game, its fun as long as you like fantasy type games..... Im not crazy about them, but it is a good game and offers a lot to many. I personally had some issues with the way it worked with my pc that NCSoft would not even make a real attempt to fix. But, OVERALL.... I still say GW2 is worth trying even if it is an NCSoft game
but i still feel the same way about NCSoft.....

I cannot do it anymore.....i am officially retiring from MMO's....I feel like I have lost the best friend I ever had....when I was having problems in my head; i could log in and it was kind of like therapy. Now with the end coming ....I feel myself slowly slipping back into the abyss again. To all of you who know me and have ran with me....I am eternally grateful for all of the time and support in the game. Someday if God smiles on us again....he will bring us back together under the flag of CoH.....until then.....SUIT UP.....WE ARE..AND ALWAYS WILL BE....HEROES AND THIS IS WHAT WE DO. Not gonna say goodbye...just close with....see you at the next mission.
Well said Taker, have run with you for a really long time, and I glad we can still talk on FB, but it wont be the same....

You enjoyed the game your way, I enjoyed it mine... Does this give you a reason to bash me or me you? No...Your jealous that I was doing something you didnt know about, didnt care to take part in, or didnt have the means to accomplish is all it is. Did i bash on you for collecting you 1600+ badges that do nothing for you other then bragging rights? Which is intresting in itself because so many people on Champion Bashed PoN for * years about being the best prestige earning Sg Campion has ever seen....Badges.....prestige..... kinda the same thing really, neither do anything for you other then bragging rights.
But if I were to brag about prestige, Im a noob that knows nothing. If you brag about your badges, your show everyone your "accomplishments"

Notice that I am not "on the map", but on the outside of the war walls, but still ABOVE the map, not below, thus not violating the "can not be under the map" rules.
This was done by using the "ouroboros trick" for those of you that knew it
I had a full 8 v 8 pvp farm going here non-stop anytime I was not in-game such as being at work, or when I went to bed. I would let it run sometimes for days at a time, and would pull in on average 15-20 pvp io drops per 24 hour period. Did this for 5 years. now you see why I never had an Influence shortage, and why my farm was never bothered
This is why I firmly believe I was the richest player in game....ever. -

both are "ok" i lean more toward DCUO, game looks fantastic, worlds are amazing.... but the game controls mainly the way you attack is BLEH.
If CoH had to be given a rating 1-10, its a 9.75 IMO.
DCUO would be a 6.75
CO would be a 3.0 -
So ELF had talked me into getting GW2.... Found I could get it from GameFly for $35.00, I gave it a shot, and it was decent....Then I experienced the common occurance, a problem that I needed to contact NCSoft for.
Staying true to form as in the past, NCSoft "attempted" to assist me. I received the normal 5-6 email blow offs, and I had had enough. I contacted them, told them "how much I enjoy the wonderful service they provide on so many levels, and thanked them for the amazing way they handled the closure of C.o.H"
I was transfered around 82 times, put on hold for 82 hours, and finally today I received my refund for my GW2 purchase.... but they are letting me keep my acct.

I guess I can now reveal my Famous PvP IO Farming spot on Champion. Many people thought I moved it to a different server, but I never did. It is, and always has been in RV on Champion.... Just found an incredible Bug, within a bug.... that was never reported and only shared with several very close friends.
Anyone that would like to see the spot, let me know..... you'll be quite surprised
