  1. I honestly love when these configurations of teams do a successful Master, just goes to show great players and teamwork will trump ideal ATs every day!!!

Best bet is to go to the boat on Sat nights 5pm EST or a little before. Myself and Blazing have not been very consistent lately but most of the time there are others there who can lead teams pretty well.

Just a side note on GW. If you have a good DD Def you can just dog pile her, but keep in mind you will still need to keep CM on the tank and have the tank keep GW facing away from the rest of the team ... to keep them out of potential cone attacks. GL all.
  3. Well we kind of threw a MoSTF run together and pulled out a great success, with a few really close calls, but all together this team rocked it. EDIT: Team makeup was, Tank, 3 Scrappers, WS, 2 Def, Troller (No emp, No kin).

  4. Started a villian (only one at the moment) got it to lvl 17, but I really wasnt on much. I dont really like 2X XP wknd much. =/
  5. Just make sure you dont hesitate in answering the OP or youll get kicked from the team.
  6. Im a bit confused Exx, I thought you were starting this with a strategy in mind.
  7. I will volunteer to head up the Tank team with King Geo if you want. If we are going to do it like last time, Ill need 7 tanks and an Emp. Last time with the Angels having the tanks tack their respective yellow positions and keeping all yellow and hami agro, worked out pretty well.

    Virtue SG's

Honestly its a tough thing to get a SG going and keep it active. Take it from someone who has led several. You pretty much can do it one of 2 ways.

    1. Simply find a cool name and let anyone in, then try and find out if any of those people want to be a part of your leadership. Once you have a handful of people who are in your leadership positions, actually give them some control and give them the leeway to actually do things. This will give them incentive to help the SG along. You may get a lot of people in the SG but this type of SG will have a big drop out rate, so you will need to keep recruiting often.

    2. Find a niche that you will enjoy and simply stick with it, find a theme and recruit like minded people. This will take potentially a lot longer, but youll find that the people you do get into it are more likely to stick with it.

  9. Hey Doc, you will soon realize the best thing about this game is the Social element. From a player thats been on here for 4+ years, its not the mechanics or the content ... just the people. Hit me up anytime you see me, global @XeroCurve.
  10. Ok, bare with me here, THIS SUCKS! Ok, I am calmed down now. I think its moronic that you basically cant do the STF like before. There is no more prestige in these badges and if you set it to +4, than every damn baddie in the TF is lvl 54, idiotic.

With that said ... I did 2 STFs and 2 ITFs all Masters yesterday, and we got one successful ITF.

If the Devs can hear me ... at the very least the Inner Circle and LR should be lvl 54 NO MATTER WHAT!!!
  11. <giant voice> I am the master !!! </giant voice>
  12. Hey Virtue whats up? The Sphere recently had an opening and I wanted to see if the forum would be any help in finding a new member for us. A little about us ... We are an 8 man SG or static SG that is made up of semi-elemental toons, four physical and four metaphysical. The elements are Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Life, Death, Light and Darkness, and we are in need of a new Water.

We have very specific requirements for the toon including, specific naming, AT, powersets and uniform. We meet regularly on Sundays and are very active throught the rest of the week with Sphere and other toons of course.

If a very experienced, tight knit static group is what you are looking for please get a hold of me in game @XeroCurve (Evenings). We are very selective in who joins us, so be prepared for some questions. I will give you all the details on what is required when we chat. Thanks ...

  13. Just throwing in a "warm fuzzy" ... the Virtue community is a big reason I keep playing this game. When I originally started COH back in 2005 I was on Guardian, but since I have been playing on Virtue for a couple years now, it really is the community that keeps it going. I am sure if you look you'll find all kinds of great folks here on Virtue. If you ever bump into any of the Spheres, make sure you say hi.
  14. I was in Beta for several months ... with that said I wont buy it. I am not saying its terrible, but not enough to pull me from COX.

Is there such a thing as "nothing?"
  16. Actually the only way to truly fix a Winblows problem is to install Linux, preferably Ubuntu . Oh ... welcome to virtue also
  17. /e inserts 2 influence ...

I like unique names even though in 4 years I have yet to get the ONE name I really want.

I would only be ok with non-unique naming if the originator of any given name was allowed a unique title like "The Original" and if that toon was ever deleted that title would be lost forever.
  18. Yep. The Sphere has been an ongoing static 8 man SG with regular meetings for about 2 years now. There has been a few member changes but all in all its been great.
  19. /e walks in for the very first time

I heard there was some trouble you folks were having. All I need to know is who needs putting down and if you want the pain short or long and drawn out?

/e pulls out an extremely menacing looking heand held weapon and un-sheaths a large knife with the other hand
