Unfortunately, despite all this helpful information, I was at a loss when I attempted converting demorecord file to regular video clips, so I gave up and just went the old timer's route. :P
Maybe I'll try it again sometime (or maybe we can swap tours), but for now I'm just posting screenshots.

Um ... actually, if I remember correctly, I made the walls white with the arcane backdrop and dropped the lighting down to minimum. I used a lot of torches and sconces for effect.

Well, here is a somewhat minimalist design. It is a transport hub base mainly to give alt goups a common means of transportation.

Telepad rooms 1-3 go to city zones, while telepad rooms 4-5 are to hazard zones.
The only zone left out is Crey's Folly, thanks to easy access from either Brickstown or the Rikti Crash Site.
Each telepad has been clearly identified. I just hate the look of the "two level" ramps

The overview looks pretty good. I'm all for a simplistic and minimalist design.
I agree about the two-level ramps. Maybe ... *crosses her fingers* ... they'll introduce a two level ramp and other great things for bases fairly soon.

I made that video by first taking a long demorecord. Then I play the demo back and take smaller clips with Fraps(www.fraps.com). I use windows movie maker to edit it all together and add titles and music.
