I only have one thing I feel absolutely and desperately needs to be addressed...
The original villain groups now look horribly dated compared to the newer ones. And not just "newer" as in the Praetorians... I'm looking at how even the Knives of Artemis compare to Skulls and Hellions. Especially as the Hellions now have those Girlfriends from Hell, which make the rest of the mob they're in look like a friggin' joke.
I'd love to see all the old NPC assets given a modern makeover. Custom (and potentially unlockable) weapons and costume pieces for more groups, civilians more in line with Praetoria in Primal Earth, additional non-supery clothing to make those civilians more diverse. A few more animations to bring those people to life.
Some rework on the old zones to bring them into Ultra Mode would also be nice, but those we burn, freeze, pummel, slice, beat down, fling, spike, rend, whip, shoot and save should really be brought up to speed. -
We'll miss you, sir. It was great to sit and talk with you a bit at PAX.
I hope this means you no longer need to also tend bar. While a five year streak of no-weapons violence is great, it's even better when there's little chance of it happening in the first place. :3
I won't wish you luck, as you won't need it. You'll do well. I know it in my bones. Take care, and know you made our lives brighter. -
With my yearly autorenew hitting on the 28th of April, this brings me much joy.

Well, hell. Guess I have to weigh in on this one, don't I.
Lots of bullets, you say. How about a 100 round helical magazine? The Calico M950 has you covered there.
The classic Colt 1911 is a must.
The Česká Zbrojovka korpion vz. 61 E spits bullets out quite fast.
I have a personal desire to see the Heckler & Koch USP find a way in.
The Mauser C96: excellent for any 5th Column wannabe.
Seeing this sucker redone for CoX would be killer. Along a similar vein, there's always this.
Other sources...
The Magnum Opus "Hellbringer" .666 Magnum Revolver.
The Nova Model 757 Cityhunter.
The Fabrica de Armes GP-80.
The Seburo C-X.
And, of course, to signal the end of this post, I must sound The Gong. -

Unknown Woman is Karen Reynoso, our events coordinator. She's kept in a cryostasis most of the year, and brought out only to run the booths at the cons.

Karen is awesome. I love working with her.
I'm sorry I missed SDCC, but I'm a poor college student. Maybe next year! -
I want this pack so bad, but I want to buy the AE on Steam for various reasons. Until that gets linked in... or until it's determined that it's not going to happen at all... or, more likely, I just break down... I'm not dropping the cash.
Believe me, though. Only temporary. I have so many ideas I want to use from this pack. Q_Q -
NEW: Female > Faces 16-27, Supernatural 12
BUG: Male > Upper Body > Baggy > Jester / Onomichi Warrior / Sinister / Ulterior / Valkyrie
All use the Tights mesh instead of the Baggy mesh. -
Clown Masterminds.
Oh, and a mastermind that allies himself with a gang and thus can call their members, like a Rikti communications officer. Because I wanna have a KoA MM. :| -
Congratulations to all on the rebranding. I know it means a lot more to the team to have a specific name attached to the studio, rather than just being an offshoot of the parent company. Considering NCsoft's recent consolidation into various NCsoft <AREA> studio names, this means a great amount.
I am also heartened by the significant increase in developer headcount since the split with Cryptic. A growth of 150% is quite astounding, and means great things to come for both the team and those whose lives have been touched by all their efforts.
I, for one, welcome our new brilliant blue overlords. -
I will bet the usual. Capes, buttons, lanyards, teeshirts, etcetera. :3

Walk-in? As in "here but not eating?"
I ask because I will still be working in Expo until the M&G's about half over, yet I would like to come by and hobnob with people. -

At least until 2010. PAX: East Coast is coming.
I'm surprised Jay's not being dragged up. He should know the area, right? Digipen and all that.
Two more weeks. I'm really looking forward to seeing people there. Everyone who is going, I hope you have an awesome time! This year is gonna be epic! -
Sweetness, BaBs. I should know soon if I get to be the NCsoft whipping boy again this year.
-
Mmm, PAX.
So, I'll be there again, in the Black. More than likely directly attached to NC again.
I promise not to kill myself on your behalf again. -
So...
36 slots per server. 11 servers. 1 test server.
432. If TR01 stays up, I can put three on there...
And I will be complete. -

Keep a cube open for me. I graduate in 2009. :] -
*whistles*
Jay's toy collection rivals what mine used to be before the fire...
That's something epic, there.
<also considers sending Jay toys for costume idearz.>
So, y'all like your new digs? -

my only beef is that the PA guys are WoW players :P
but it's for a great cause
[/ QUOTE ]
I keep trying to fix that. Eventually, they'll get sick of WoW and I can lure them over... Like I've done with so many others... >:] -

A "Seattle based" charity?
I think it bears mentioning that this is spear-headed by the guys who make the gaming webcomic Penny-arcade. Just to be all specific and stuff =)
[/ QUOTE ]
Yea, is it an attempt to avoid making it look like Penny-Arcade advertising?
[/ QUOTE ]
Since the charity has taken off well on it's own, the need for the PA label has kind of fallen off. The CP site itself doesn't even make mention of PA until you read the FAQs on the 'About' page. It's now an entity that doesn't need PA to survive... and this auction is one reason for that.
But it doesn't hurt. ;D -
Oh, awesome.
As an Enforcer for the Penny Arcade nation, there is really nothing I participate in every year that brings me as much satisfaction as Child's Play. Even PAX, for which I run myself into the ground... as some of the NCpeople might or might not recall.
Child's Play is an international charitable organization started by the creators of the Penny Arcade webcomic in 2003. Hospitals in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and even Egypt have become recipients for toys and games from those whom love them the most. Gamers.
The auctions are already well past my ability to pony up, and probably several of you are facing the same issues. And looking at that sweet Recluse statue with a tear in your eye. But, perhaps, you might find it in your heart to drop by the CP site and donate a bit to ease your soul. A dollar or a thousand, it all helps. It also helps to show the world we gamers are socially conscious.
Or do what I do. I've been working to add CP to the charities the places I do business with have in their official charitable contributions list.
Jebus, I'm pontificating here like whoa. I'm just passionate about CP, is all. So, to the team... I know I speak for those whom have also taken up The Black when I say THANK YOU for supporting the cause. -
Man, what about TR? If this guy sez MxO is better than TR, I'm gonna have words.
Still, CoX is superior to all, and I say that as someone that's played all of these. -
What's great about hosting a site like the RP Congress is, while we're a vast and diverse group of individuals with many different SGs with as many different leaders... I can occasionally take credit for it all.
Happy anniversary, Lighthouse. After meeting you at PAX, I learned where your handle came from. You made me feel teensy. Hope to see you next year. -

This was my reaction as well. Though I'll not run away. This is HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.
I'm nearly teary-eyed with joy.
