Hello My fellow heroes,
Last night I failed in my gambit and was denied my epic quest for my goal of Security Level 50. Tryant esacped but we still managed to free Statesman, and even tho I maybe his pal, I was humbled in my defeat at the hand of Tryant and not rewarded with the final security level.
Due to recent events I was contacted my Mender Silos and It appears that I am destine to Free Statesman to achive my Securtiy Level 50 and in fact to do so while defeating not only Lord Recluse but his henchmen and his doomsday weapon the Jade Spider.
Through research it has been determined that the optiminal timeshift for this to occur is 20100506-2230E1930P.
If you are interested contact Global Shield tonight via com. IMPORTANT this is not a speed run. Plan on running each mission without stealthing / ghosting the TF is actual more of a story and is being completed in rp/story style.

AV, that just about matches our time overall. But those dark mirror doubles at the end faceplanted our whole team! It was so wicked cool. I wonder if there will every be a way to solo that TF?
The mix of baddies is so cool and the story is pretty sweet as well. I would love to get a toon to 10 and just play through the whole arc a little at a time.
Our SUnday team everyone hit the controllers first and made extremely short work of them.
Yes there is a way to solo it when you want to give it a try shoot me a tell/pm.

Team Valor ran a 3 member 'prequale' team on Friday and our time with mutiple breaks and in our easy play style was Part 1 (2:20) and Part 2 (2:03) Our team was two tanks and a rad. We had plenty fun defeated everything in our way.
Our Sunday run
Team Valor part 1 and 2 combined took us just over two hours with schedule break between the two tf. I believe we ran it with a team of 5 but I forget I sent all the data in to the Ladies. Lots of fun and Great job everyone.

The first ever 6th Anniversary Liberty Event; RWZ Hero/Villain Costume Contest. Our judges for the event were: Green Eyed Lady, Geronimo 69, and American Valor (myself). We discussed many different things about what we liked and why and in the end they were all great and our decisions were.

The kick off event was amazing because YOU Liberty made it that way. Once again I want to thank you for making these past 6 years some of the best years we have had. Looking foward to sharing many more with you all in the years to come. Liberty you guys are the best.

A note about the LGTF: It has been determined through testing that there is a I-17 bug in the mission. (AOVT) The amazing DEV team is aware of the problem, however the fix will not be completed before next week. (Castle) That said the LGTF will require specific AT members to even have a chance to complete it. There is a real chance for faliure and faliure means *NO REWARDS. That said once the LGTF is fixed We will attempt this again in full force.
Okay Vanguard Members see you in the RWZ Vanguard Briefing room. Start collecting new badges early by entering the base through Atlas.

Good question DW its a mix of both some may come as teams others will be formed on site truly the goal is to have everyone who shows up to have a team. If we get full zone attendance we will have 9 teams of 8 and 4 teams of 7 how awesome will that be and the potential Lag oh my truly looking to push the systems iimits in place.

Mod 8 / The Ocho FTW!!! We rocked the house and had a awesome event including facing the dreaded lag monster on Liberty! Atlas and Talos were in fever pitch battles the entire night and to cap it all off we all headed to Liberty and Hung out a bit longer with much celebration and sking.
Liberty loves there Mod 8 / The Ocho, and he knows we welcome him to just hang with us anytime.
also May 1st and 2nd we are rocking Liberty with addtional Player events and all are welcome.
May 1, The Alpha and Omega team Gambit, Rikti War Zone Challenge starting at 12:00pm Eastern 9:00am Pacfic running all day ending in a CC and party in the zone.
May 2, The New Positron Task Force Starting at 12 Noon PDT (3:00pm Eastern going until ???

I'm not starred in Steeles picture and ND you have 4. Not starred in GEL picture either Oversites etc its something we do that is personal. If I was passing out stars I would probably give myself 3 stars cause some times even I don't want to team with me. Its a system that can be useful if you need it but I was serious when I said You would rather not be stared by me then have some, cause the more stars the more likely you did something during the team/event or sent pm/tell that made me say you're on your own, falling just short of Ignore becaue mine is full spammers. My stars generally carry notes which thankfuly are also private. Nuff said.

A 6th Anniversary Liberty Event:
Alpha and Omega Rikti War Zone Challenge
Over 72 months ago White Plains was destroyed. A Rikti Mothership crashed and had survivors. Since that time there has been continuous activity. The Rikti have establish a beachhead hold in the area. So now is the time we strike back, Strike them hard, and continuously throughout the day. Multiple Vanguard teams will heed the call from Lady Grey (LGTF 45+) and assault the Rikti Mothership through the catacombs beneath the sunken road. While the main Vanguard forces attack the pylons and the Mothership in a recreation style battle of the Alpha and Omega teams. Only this time defeating the invading hordes and driving them back to their homeworld for a time being.
- Schedule of Events:
- Who: Heroes and Villains of any level can join with Supersidekick working together in co-op zone. 100 players can equal 12 teams of 8 and one of 4.
- Where: Rikti War Zone
- Objectives: Mothership Raid & Lady Grey TF (running consecutively). Clear the zone in a badge hunting sweep, costume contest (TBD).
- Event Date: *Starting 20100501 (May 1, 2010)
- Event times: *Starting time 12:00 pm EST (9:00 am PST)
- 12:00 pm EST (9:00 am PST) Heroes and Villains gather for Rikti briefing in Vanguard HQ briefing area. Team leaders assigned for intial assault and 8 Vanguard operative volunteers for a joint task force to assist Lady Grey minimal Security Threat lvl 45
- 12:30 pm EST (9:30 am PST) Begin Alpha assault raid on Mothership and Launch Omega task force teams
- Continuous Mothership Alpha raiding while the Omega (LGTF) teams complete mission objectives. Upon Omega Team compleations regroup in Vanguard HQ.
- Commence Badge Hunting Zone Sweep (Mutiple badges available explore and defeats)
- 3:00 pm EST (12:00 am PST) Heroes and Villains gather for Rikti briefing in Vanguard HQ briefing area. Team leaders assigned for assault and 8 Vanguard operative volunteers for a joint task force to assist Lady Grey minimal Security Threat lvl 45.
- 3:30 pm EST (12:30 am PST) Begin second Alpha assault raid on Mothership and Launch second Omega task force teams
- Continuous Mothership Alpha raiding while the 2nd Omega (LGTF) teams complete mission objectives. Upon 2nd Omega Teams compleation all regroup in Vanguard HQ
- Celebrate victory with a 6th Anniversary Costume Contest and party! TBD by last team(s) completing LGTF

Okay I spent some time working on a mock up for the Alpha and Omega RWZ 6th Anniversary Challenge. I will post up the idea in its own thread and I know it will require several leaders to assist in running the teams.
100 heroes can equal 12 teams of 8 and one of 4. If the date for the first weekend in May, 1st and 2nd is good a shout out would be good.

Hoping we get an excellent turnout and I think we should as this will basicly be right after the PERC Mirror Mirror CC event.

Also, I was thnking it doesn't have to be in five days, just during the anniversary celebration.
I17 is coming out that day and there WILL be technical problems on both ends of the system. It might make it hard for some folk to participate when teh graphics go haywire or some unknown bug rears its ugly head.
There are also the dev sponsered events that day that would cut participation.
But whatever we do, we should do something. The announcement says that they (NCSOFT) will help with player sponsered events so we should try and get something cool to go with everything. YEP made update change
