Hami raid -- a successful one.
I thought about a Hami raid. But the zone caps so not everyone could attend, plus we haven't done one in a while. (I've never done one)
But if that is what people want, then I'm cool with that.
Clear the zone, a badge hunt, costume contest: Heroes and Villains of any level can join with Supersidekick ability allowing us to be working together (co-op zone). Only one place is fitting for all that on what is being called the 6th Anniversary event.
The Rikti War Zone.
Over 72 months ago White Plains was destroyed. The Mothership has continuous activity, the Rikti have been establishing a beachhead hold on the area. So we strike them hard, and continuously throughout the day. Multiple high level teams can heed the call from Lady Grey (LGTF 45+) and assault the Mothership through the catacombs beneath the ship, While the main attack force strikes the pylons and the Mothership in a recreation style battle of Alpha and Omega teams. Only this time defeating the invading hordes and driving them back for a time being.
What say you all, Think we liberty folks can put this together in 9 days.

You may have noticed that things tend to get a little... "out of hand" in-game on our anniversaries. Well, this year will be no exception! On Monday, April 26th and Tuesday, April 27th, get ready for chaos to break loose on a server near you! Don't miss out on this opportunity to band together with your fellow players to defeat giant obstacles, earn merits, badges, XP and maybe even pick up a 30 day anniversary title!
Avatea posted Monday, April 26th - Liberty (4-7pm PST / 7pm-10pm EST)
Depending on your server, report to Atlas Park or Talos Island (if you’re a hero), and Cap au Diable (if you’re a villain)!
This year, the baton has been passed to War Witch who will present the 6 Year Anniversary Address to players. At approximately 8pm EST in-game (and shortly thereafter on the website), she will share some words of wisdom that will no doubt reflect on the past and help us all look forward to the future!

That could work for me. Multiple Mothership raids? Oh yeah! Maybe my buddy who has never sucessfully done one could finally get one!
Also, I was thnking it doesn't have to be in five days, just during the anniversary celebration.
I17 is coming out that day and there WILL be technical problems on both ends of the system. It might make it hard for some folk to participate when teh graphics go haywire or some unknown bug rears its ugly head.
There are also the dev sponsered events that day that would cut participation.
But whatever we do, we should do something. The announcement says that they (NCSOFT) will help with player sponsered events so we should try and get something cool to go with everything.

I think we should do the "clear the zone" in RWZ and help everyone that even slightly hints at having an interest.
Expanding on the original great idea from DevilYouKnow, this can actually be over-flowed into all of the other zones. DYK mentioned Perez, we can get everyone's Bone daddy, Damned and Skul badge. Hey, who needs Warrior bosses, I headed to Striga! I am going to go clobber Igneous bosses in The Hollows, who wants to come with....
See what I'm getting at? Not just one day of "oh darn, I had to go xyz and didn't make it", but several things over several days.........as a community.....*gasp*
Yeah! This sounds like fun. This would also let just about any of our toons take part.
Plus, there are going to be new badges with I17 that our badging toons could get. Imagine a team of 8 heroes or villians sweeping the city to get the new badges!
I also had another idea where we have a 1 to 16 team. Basically, everyone who's interested creates a new toon and starts with a sewer run to get to 10 fighting our way to Skyway, then we emerge and head to...Boomtown! No one goes there, but we could!
Doesn't have to be part of the Anniversary events, but it could be.
Okay I spent some time working on a mock up for the Alpha and Omega RWZ 6th Anniversary Challenge. I will post up the idea in its own thread and I know it will require several leaders to assist in running the teams.
100 heroes can equal 12 teams of 8 and one of 4. If the date for the first weekend in May, 1st and 2nd is good a shout out would be good.

I was thinking that we should plan a server event for the Anniverasy Celebration. Something that people could take part in just about anytime and something we haven't done in awhile.
Here's my idea:
Clean Up Perez Park Campaign
Groups of heroes moving through Perez Park taking out ne'r do wells and making it safe again.
Basically we would start it at say noon and run til a predetermined time. This would let everyone who wanted to have a chance to take part in the event.
Different players would organaize different time slots so nobody gets overloaded with details.
Maybe a costume contest for the best Perez Park Themed toon with a nifty I/O and some influence as a prize.
It would be cool if there was a new badge for "arresting" baddies in Perez but I suppose there is no time to talk to the Powers That Be about something like that.
Anyway, just a thought and if we don't wanna do that, then let's come up with something else that we could do. Best if we could spread it over a wider time frame so more people can attend the event.
