  1. Wow.... um... All those rules for a Tshirt. :/
  2. For some reason no, it does not leave an image in the screenshot directory. You have to have your image editor *open* so you can hit print-screen and then directly move to it to ctrl-v into it.

Use your Start key to move from one program to the other. I know how that goes. Though I've got a logitec mouse that sometimes does it for me. When I least expect it to.
  3. Woo!

.... Why didn't I see this yet on DA?! Hmmmm. Must log in lol!!
  4. I'd say this is an excellent pic, you just need to decide on a light source and put some shadows in. Heck, if you're using a digital program like psp or photoshop, temporarily use the DropShadow feature to figure out where blotches would go under the ripped clothing. It looks fine to me.

(My one crit would be that the nose line would be more U shaped instead of ^ shaped because of the angle that we're seeing the face.)
  5. ROFFLE!

I want a kheldian by Easter. /e praise.
  6. I have to say that first image is.... unbelievable. I think you win for suck. I have a couple funnies, but they're not like 'total suckage'. Merely team wipes and Giant Monster mashes.... I hang my head in shame from your complete and total suckage, sir.

    A question...

I usually scan lineart at 300 dpi, color work at 500-600 but like others say it's largely wasted if it's going anywhere but online in huge format. I think my own microtek slimscan is about ready to be replaced. I'll look into canon too, I like most canon products.
  8. Gah I love Brandon's art.

And what a very very nice story to go with it! (or is it the other way around?) Excellent work on both sides of the comission.
  9. This is an awesome idea! Heck, if you provide the kids with a character template similar to what you'd find on a COH character (like head details, colors, body armor/costume design, power sets) I'd love to try one or two. I don't draw enough any more, and I really should.

Heck, you should offer (with parental permissions) to have a trial code sent to the year's best students...

You had it easy. On my yearbook staff, we had to resort to cutting photos up with scissors and then rearranging them.

Some of the 'scenes' we came up with would be cause for a civil suit or two, these days....

LOL! Back in my day, we had to send our newspaper copy out to be typeset!

    Uphill! Both ways!

    GET OFF MY LAWN!!

Actually while I was working at the comic store, I made a 'shoplifters will be killed and eaten' sign out of a few creatively cut up comics.

Smurfs comics. And Lynch from Gen 13. With guns. The Atomic Weenie version. hee. I think I still have that somewhere...
  11. I use PSP 8. You can find it online for about 40 bucks shipping included, and it's the best of the PSP bunch (because it was before JASC was bought by *cough choke gag* Corel). It's pretty easy to use and it works *great* for web based graphics. It's got a lot of features similar to PhotoShop but without (IMO) all the difficult to understand user interface. ((I couldn't draw a circle in photoshop. I'm positive that there was a way to do it, but if there was, I tried for 40 minutes to find it and didn't. I deleted Photoshop off my computer and went right back to PSP.))

It comes with Animation Shop, which if you need to do animated banners or other graphics is *excellent* and very easy to use. I highly recommend PSP.
  12. I think it's very sweet! A nice screenshot and a great concept!

Much better than my 'squiddie-posing-as-armhair-under-a-statue-arm' screenshots....

    GIANT ROBOT!!!

If you're saving as bitmaps they'll automatically resize into a jpg like that. Normally my very large jpgs won't resize - but I have a paid account, so I have a larger margin.

That is a really great pose!

Dear sweet tapdancing monkeyballs, I did't have to see that. Why must I click every link someone tells me to click.

    What, they're .... fixing a doorknob! That's it!
  15. Doesn't have to be heroes, does it?

Quiescence the elf -- The amount of manipulation I did on the waterfall and background is what I'm most proud of here.

Something for the lord of the rings fan in all of us Apophysis

How about a seahorse? Seahorses make me happy.

    Or a happy cheetah?

    Enjoy!
  16. Very nice! I love it when folks aren't afraid to use nice solid blacks in shading and coloring.
  17. AWESOME! That's adorable and really good to boot!
  18. Thanks, I thought it was too, it's not my typical style of face.
  19. I've only drawn RR twice, including this one, and the other is on a piece with hundreds of my other characters and thus not really scanable.

This was for an art exchange on Deviant Art, rabbitrabbit asked for one of my characters eating the best cookie in the universe. Anyone who's teamed with RR knows that she's diligent and tries to keep healing, even in the heart of hami.

So this is one goooood cookie.

And yes, that's the COH moon.

Someone in KR was offering 500k influence to anyone who left PD1.

I know, someone was offering a cool mil each if a group of 5 would come out!
  21. I doubt very much that anyone 'planned' the release of all the giant monsters and such after the event was officially over. It was very likely Manticore's inner beast chuckling after a very very long day (the devs apparently were in meetings from what a w00t interview indicated, don't think it was him but I'd assume they'd have several in a meeting) and I'm sure he was just as tired as everyone else.

I sent a tell to Cuppa but didn't get a reply either, but there were like 400 people doing the same. After 12 hours, if they didn't feel like answering pm's, I think that's pretty much their perrogative, as this wasn't an 'ask the devs' moment - it was a 'good bye cuppajo' moment.

And just curious about what you've said: 'leaving PD1 as requested' who requested people leave? No one said anything in 2, so I am wondering what went on there?
  22. Very nice work, and darn quick! You did a great job on this!

Actually, most of earlier monster spawns...Hami, Kronos Titan...were in instance 5 (or was it 7?) I wasn't there for the Arachnos Flyer, so I don't know what instance that was. Also, I guess the Cuppathon was still going on. It lasted a good chunk of the day. I think I heard Cuppa say she was on air something like 6-8 hours with Jester. There were contests and givaways going periodically for the several hours that I was there, and they were talking about things that sounded like they had been going on for a while before that (like some of the Dev's fighting in RV). The Find Ravenstorm contest went on for at least an hour it seemed. There were quite a few events.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The big PD1 list of av's and monsters happened *after* the 12 hour cuppathon had ended and Cuppa had left the building. If you were on when they were at hour 8 there was still another 5+ hours to go
  24. Yeah no kidding! I heard people chatting through other channels about this or that but wasn't really intent on leaving my nice dance area by Cuppa to visit Recluse or the others in different instances.

But... then... I went to bed... *sigh* All that good stuff happened after I logged, and in an instance any of us could have gotten into by then because it'd cleared out too. Look at the screenies, see how few people there are compared to earlier?

I wonder what the final tally of people in each instance was!
