That's right - with the great popularity of Rowrsie's wonderful calendar (with GORGEOUS art by Brandon McKinney) it's been brought up several times in that thread that there should be a companion piece for the ladies! A beefcake photoshoot - with our heroes as the stars!

Now, I am only getting the information together here, maybe with enough good heroic studs collected we might convince Brandon to produce another masterpiece? (hey Brandon! Remember me? One of the few who insisted you were the best COH comic artist?? lol! *here's your inf*... hee)

How about putting info in here as follows, to keep it clean:
(please specify if it's hero or villain! might even get 2 batches out of this because... mmm.)

Oh and I realized, sure, a bedroom scene isn't exactly ... wise, for male heroes. But a locker room? How about a locker room setting? (Or volleyball, which would be very funny for villains, I have to say... poor little volleyball being assassin-striked over the net.)

Your forum name, your hero (with image link if you've got one)/your villain, and the month you'd like them to try out for. I'm sure certain months might fill up more quickly but I bet we can sort it out!

I like how the guys by the Faultline entrance are still unnamed NPC_#### too. But that sign. I had never even thought they'd place raw text instead of a unique item on the map like that.

Of course I do! I'm all about equal time I mean, there are first off a LOT of female players in COH/V, and there are a lot of 'other' folks who wouldn't mind seeing some beefcake either.

Oh yeah - I haven't seen him in here yet, I want to also nominate Aerones' Phoebus for like, January. He'll bring some warmth into those long winter nights...

It's the only comic I still buy after having had to leave my store. Gaaad it's been... almost 2 years! aiee! But yeah I love the series. I've adored it since it first started, it's inspiring. Some day I might even try to convince Wendy and Richard that I could publish the Otherforest stories, but I'd definitely have to get their permissions first. Look and feel y'know.

I agree with what everyone's said, keep it up. Each portion of the face is pretty good, the cheeks are too hard, but with a little softening that can change a lot. T'aint nothing to laugh at - it's a great start.

I do a little dolling still (I used to be into it much more but the yahoo group got too spambotted to use any more and never really recovered ) so I have some templates and blanks if you want to use them. Just send me a pm and I can start digging up my links to the sites they're on - since they're scattered around I have a whole line of superhero pose blanks (they're actually blank, as in completely unshaded doll outlines, and more realistic proportion than regular 'diva' type dolls), and elves, along with a super-generic-guy with tons of arm and leg poses.

I can't wait to see the new micros, they've all been really keen so far.
