I was in one of the top VGs on freedom before it more or less disbanded, but never had base editing permissions. Our base was kind of crappy even though we had ridiculous amounts of prestige. I joined it for the PvP, not for the PvE.

Why don't we move out of your closed experience and into one where not just I, but a number of people I know, have been playing for a long time and haven't done the strike force? What purpose, exactly, is served by requiring a mission computer? Cause I sure don't see one. Should we make it so that one of the hero TFs require a mission computer? Let's pick Manticore.

What if I finished both lady grey and ITF? What if I want to do a TF before I'm level 35? I have nothing else to do except try to get on an LRSF. Heroside I can (and have) gone to do one of the other ones pretty easily.

There is a total of 1, yes 1 SF you can do through the mission computer. Sounds like you need to join a better VG or at least one that has a coalitioned VG with a mision computer. If you've really been playing for over 3.5 years and you've yet to come across anyone willing to run this TF, you may want to think about searching out a more active VG or check your servers global channels for some assistance. I don't want to call you lazy, but it's really not that difficult to obtain a mission computer and scrounge up a few people to run it. As far as harder to get merits, the silver mantis SF isn't really an efficient way to earn merits if that's what you're after. Surely you've gotten a character to 35 in the 42+ months you have been playing. The ITF in cimerora is probably your best bet, since it offers a way to do co-op teaming and is still a "fresh" TF, and will probably increase your odds of finding a team there with some heroes since it seems like your server's red side population leaves a little to be desired.

Actually been some huge battles on Pinnacle the last few weeks. I have a very large sg/vg, and on the days there isn't anyone to fight, we have enough to make our own pvp events. We also have a pvp league starting up, and our PVPEC rep's do a great job of getting started.

Since over half of the names on that list are regulars on our vent server, everyone is more than welcome to use it while practicing or for the events themselves. Not going to post the info due to outside spamming but send a tell to any of these people for the info. I can set up a few channels no problem.

Nope. with my work schedule, my gaming time is too erratic.

RV has been busier than ever the last two weeks. At lleast 4 nights of 30+ in the zone, including last night. Glad to see some non-pvp'ers in there joining the fun. I wound up with over 28 rep, not bad for being on a team of 8.

Wrong, change the LOTG Defense to End/recharge. It'll be cheaper and you'll get better end reduction with the same defense. And if your toggles drop it'll recharge faster. No wonder ninja gets pwnt all the time...jeez.

Oh how could i forget this. Back when Warburg was actually fun, Evil Dad and i were in there, hanging out by the nuke. Both wearing our superman inspired costumes, because we could. Well a few people came in, walk up to us, and told us..."We're here making a movie, leave us alone"

Was in there one night killing this guy over and over, he's calling me everything in the book, i'm lol'ing at him. His name was "Black heart" I happen to look up at the villain hospital and it's named "Black heart" I about peed myself. I told him he died so much they named the hospital after him. He promptly left the zone, never saw him again.

I remember going to RV one day, on a fairly busy night. Certain members of a rival Vg were standing on the tram, and below there was three heroes, a tanker and 2 scrappers, all three had heavies. I knew the other villains weren't going to help, so i went in. the tank immediately started laughing at me, so i saved him for last. Popped my tier 9, ate two big reds, hit the scrapper with ET (pre-nerf), took him to half health, hit him with air superiority, he did a flip in the air as i hit him with bonesmasher and finished him off with TF. Hit my megalomaniac, ran up to the loudmouth tank, hit him with stun, turned to the other scrapper, ET,TF,bone smasher, ET, goodnight. then beat down the tank. just as he drops, my tier9 crashes. i actually got 3 tells from 3 people that don't even like me giving me props on that.

even Castle said a while back that fire benefits greatly from having a lot of recharge and regen. You definetly want Healing flames up as fast as humanly possible. I've seen some pretty effective /fire brutes with aid self. Good luck.
