I was thinking about this while I was coming home.

Would the steady, even lighting under the little overpasses in Atlas or Steel work? They've always got the same lighting, since they're lit from the fixtures.

oooh also, might you try a base room with the lights either cranked down or up, and one lightsource added (like a pillar light or the torch)? That might work if you put on some simple walls (like we have many simple walls, I know) and change all the colors to black, and the lighting down? Might work

Not only is this a great piece for Armor and he deserves it, but I think it's probably your best work to date Aero. Good job yet again!

Unless you've got a lot of blue in your toon's outfit, the blue carpet inside City hall is gorgeous for screenies.

This is really something that I'd like the devs to create a 'room' where we can get "Photo Opportunities" for our characters where it's easier to get a solid color background and somehow be able to get more closeups than we can in-character. That annoying 'too close, skeletal view' thing ... :/

We had what, 2 warshades, 1 scrapper, 3 trollers and 2 defs on that team. It was pretty fun, even with a maxxed out instance and lots of nazis to go around, we were very effective when we all stayed in one place.

Well, Xureen hasn't, her bio and powers are listed (but she's level 35 now and has a cooler look, plus a 4th costume from halloween that's not on the shots).

I'm just really surprised at how quickly the teaming goes. With some folks already up to like 14! Even a duo or small group seems to hit levels a lot! I don't want to feel left behind, but I also have other alts to level lol! There will always be a good spread of levels in this group, I think. So whenever people are on, there we are.

And we're STILL (thanks to M_Bill) finding new ways to die.

Well let's just look at my position here.... I was gonna pretty much originally select 12 guys and pay for the whole thing. Boom. But arbitrarily deciding who was in and who wasn't seemed a little trashy to me at the time, so I opened the idea of voting - and kept in mind that I was still paying for the bulk, as an assumption. But I also was running with the assumption that I'd be IN the piece.

You don't have to pay - especially if you didn't get voted on, because that'd be totally unfair. Don't worry about that anyone. I am taking *donations* - I was in a (censored) mood earlier, I'm not *demanding* anything, kk? *smacks me*

I don't want anyone to back out, it's not really fair - especially since there were other guys that if you DID back out, would still be higher on the ranks than my stuffs. and besides TA... is...yummeh.

I got a few, but it's rather hard to see what's going on. Lots of zapping, plenty of ice, and a hoard of little bots.

Any commentary or whatnot, start shootin, congrats to those who won, and thank everyone who voted including more than one person's name.

It's my opinion that voting for only one person for a 12 month calendar was kind of one sided and unfair to those of us who didn't receive either any votes or only 1 their own. That's why I kept encouraging people to vote for 12 or more. yes, I'm a little ticked off that so many people slid in and voted by simply restating the same names over and over instead of actually giving the other folks a chance and a click. Democracy it aint', popularity contest, apparently it is.

Now keep in mind: I've got only 4 donations - those are from people who were almost guaranteed in anyway. So ... tiebreaking will pretty much be at my discretion because I'm footin the bill. I'll have the info up tonight, I swears.

I only used the missions a few times - not necesarily because I couldn't find a villain to team with (which was the case ALL too many times) but because the costume options are limited by the legs and bodies chosen. While I have one character who really should have gotten all the badges and such, I didn't bother with half the rewards for her because she's got Monsterous legs.

I don't mind fighting Snaptooth - but I do mind not having the option to even get to him, unless there happens to be a person with a villain sitting around who ALSO wants to. Apparently, at least in Protector and a number of other servers, the heroes outnumber the villains by about 5 to 1. And once that 1 villain has done their missions there's no more opportunity for the rest of us with alts to get the prizes. That's pretty much unfair based solely on numbers.

I have a TOTAL of 3 active villains and I did this mission on only 1 of them. I have over 100 characters. 3 villains I care about or would break out during this event.

Maybe some datamining would be necessary to figure out the player balance issues here. That seems to have been the limiting factor for a lot of people in Pocket D.

Etc. It was actually kind of sad. Back a year ago, it was a little different because frankly the numbers weren't quite so skewed. But I suspect that this is an essential team-up problem. When I did do the team missions (all of maybe 5 times around all servers) I was seeing only 1 villain and lots of heroes.

Too many heroes, not enough villains.
