I'm sure that for folks who are already using voice tech somewhere, it'll be nice to have it on a single launcher.
I do hope that this launcher isn't anything like the other "must install and run the game through this portal" launchers out there. Because I won't enjoy using something that I have no further interest in.
But for me, I don't use voice chat, won't use voice chat, and have no interest in it whatsoever. This game does not require voice chat. Quick typing, perhaps. But voice? No. I've been playing perfectly well for 4 years now, without it. I think I can live another 4 as it passes me by. -
Happy happy, Crestent Your elf, believe it or not, IS on the way at some point "soon"...

Plenty of other hawt starz have appeared, it wouldn't be the first time someone in politics showed up.
Case in point, the Governator. -

That's not to say Projectionist's piece doesn't have merit, though. It would make a great cover for a fan comic.

This. I already voted, but this is it in a nutshell: Aero's got the interiors, Projectionist's clearly is a cover -
I'm going with Aero too - the panels and show of variety of poses, expressions and angles. While the other's really great for a static piece, I think the panel-style tells a more indepth story too.

GAH, I was gonna try and make it today, but I hadn't realized it would be at NINE in the MORNING?! On a saturday!? I wasn't even out of BED yet... Poop. I was gonna try fetching another character for you.
-
Just leave it on. Eventually it should connect and download.

Oh nice use of the new logo/costume!
-
Oh yay Now, of course.... two events to attend! *head explodes*
-
That would be awesome incarnate

Heeee chibiphoenix is awesome.

Huh, I wonder if people've had enough of Winter's True Spirit She only qualifies under the Variety category I think, unless AT might work (ice kin... huh dunno). I'll definitely be there, it's always fun to have a fashion show.

Padres are on the road the weekend of Con, so that will eliminate a lot of the crowd downtown. It is Con though, which is always crazy.
[/ QUOTE ]
Thank goodness for that. The last time they were having games, it was *horrible*. All the free parking on Sunday was blocked off - for absolutely no reason other than "you don't get to see the Padres without parking fees" ... :/ Of course that was also the year I had my e coli infection and had to WALK TO THE CON from about 7 blocks away. *sucks*. So, good. No Pads. -
Niv is a goddess. Now we know for sure.

If the poster (however unlikely this is) actually comes up with a *viable, interesting and new* twist on anything - almost all of us, I suspect, would give it a cheer instead of a jeer.
If, however, the more likely occurance happens: "Well I didn't feel like reading all 20 pages of this so I'll just say 'I want powers to be colorable!!!!1'" Then yes, they'll get the standard ranting.
It's exactly the same if they start a new thread, only at least in one case, they have the chance to READ UP on what's come before, instead of continuing to just blindly pound the keyboard. -
I'm pretty sure it's level 6 right now, for the 90 days inactive unlocked.

Other times when people post the same things over and over again. Isn't because they didn't search. It's because people don't use well informative titles such as, "Power Visual Graphics Costumization". But, instead use a title like, "MY SUPER AWESOME SUPREMO IDEA THAT WILL RULE ALL!!!". Even just using "Power Costumization" can cause someone to post. Because a power costumization post maybe about getting the ability to turn an AoE attack into a concentrated narrow angled cone attack that hits less foes but increase the damage the foes that are hit takes and not about changing the color of the power or putting fire on a broadsword.
[/ QUOTE ]
... Any of which would easily be solved by picking an existing thread which DOES state in the title something fairly obvious - like most of them do - and posting there.
Or, god forbid, *reading their contents instead of assuming*. -

It IS recommended that you figure it out first, before trying to proclaim a new thread about anything. Blindly posting whatever 'seems good to you'

I must have been typing too quietly again.
Post as seems good to you. Let the rest sort it out.
Storage per byte is actually very cheap now.

Not when I'm reading the same damn idiotic "gotta have x and y" threads every week. It takes up MY time, and yours, and everyone else's. When there are already good, well thought out and complicated threads about the subjects, bringing up whatever often can or needs to be brought up... Why do it AGAIN?
Why not just DO what the forum rules SUGGEST you do? And what those 20 people suggest? And what all other forums I've ever, ever been on suggest? Search first. Post after you've searched. That will make the OP wise enough to post something DIFFERENT.
I do like it when there's something slightly tweaked - but the truth is that most if not all the "unique twists" have been brought up after months of arguing about the same thing, "I looked at this thread and the other and realized if you did z and d things, you'd have this other result what do you think of that?"
That's a worthy thread in the making. But one which is simply put NOT researched whatsoever.... will almost always be shot down because it will fall into the long-lamented "why didn't you search for that, it's brought up every other day" routine. -
While the costumes for the contest on Infinity were nice...
WHAT A BASE! Oh my goodness what a beautiful room! Has that base been featured yet?! Clouds in the sky, tree lined park... wow. A square with yellow I'm guessing is the 'sun' and a pool below... that is just incredible. -
That's all very fine and well except for the:

bit.
It IS recommended that you figure it out first, before trying to proclaim a new thread about anything. Blindly posting whatever 'seems good to you' gives us 14 threads a month about "I want new tails/heads for animal toons".
No, they're not "not good" ideas. But they are ideas which have been stated, restated and cloned a hundred times over. Adding a voice to the appropriate thread to me is more important than yet another flame-worthy mention of server-merges, power customization or whathaveyou that's already been talked to death. No, they didn't necessarily see the prior threads. They didn't look. It's the poster's job to do so. -

Something you must know now:
NO ONSITE BADGES ARE SOLD any longer!
They've apparently been so sold out these last 2 years, they really don't have room for lineup and standing-room only people. So get on those tickets and accomodations TODAY. -

I'll be traveling all the way from Atlanta for this one. My first con EVER! Look forward to seeing there.

Oh goodness. We're gonna spoil you or scare you off o.0
Seriously: 125k people, if you aren't ready for crowded areas. Bring your own water, food or whatnot, because it's hella expensive (though there are places around to shop for supplies as well as restaurants, the convention center's food while pretty good is really expensive). Be prepared for a lot of walking. A LOT. The building itself is just shy of 7 blocks long inside, and that's just the floor. There are 2 more floors of game rooms, discussion panels, exhibits and such, anime, movies, etc.

Is the NC / COH booth going to be in the same approximate place this year as it was last year? -
New.... at San Diego?
About 50,000 people more than when you last visited it.
