Got my first 50 blue side over the weekend
Zyal Shock (defender) 36 to 50
A Controller from 15 to 29
A Mastermind from 16 to 22
A warshade and peacebringer from 0 to 3.
I'm really liking my controller, Zy Shadow, that I played for the last part of the weekend. She's Illusion/Radiation, and I am having all sorts of fun with her, even did a TF with some of ya -

I've done something similar to this with a SS/WP brute of mine, I was having such a fun time with her at level 30, that I shut down my exp gain and ran as many arcs as I could get my hands on. I spent close to 2 months of casual play time just collecting everything I could get my hands on with out leveling.

Ooooh don't say alts, I got too many already

Did some testing last night to see what brings the pets back into control. As Beyeajus and others mentioned, no aoe seems to work, as I tried an aoe heal too. Even hit my bots with new forcefield bubbles with no effect.
One thing that did seem to work was hitting a pet with the upgrade power again, and that only brought the pet that you hit with the power back into your control. Another is they do still follow you on defensive, so if you engage mobs they well attack them to defend you and slowly start coming back into control. It usually takes me about 2 - 3 encounters before I have all my pets back. -
Sounds like fun, add me to the list.

Brief:
Pets are grayed out and cannot be controlled after zoning out of a mission.
Detailed:
Since I-16 now allows Masterminds to keep pets when zoning there seems to be a bug with it.
This does not happen all the time, but from my experience happens to me after my second mission.
I've notice this when zoning out of a mission. My pets zone out with me but now have gray names, no longer appear in my pet window and cannot be controlled or dismissed. Also trying to resummon pets while the grayed, non-controllable pets are following doesn't work.
It seems after several minutes of either waiting or engaging mobs on the street, the pets will slowly (one at a time) come back into my pet window to be controlled. Also moving to another zone or mission seems to bring them back into control.
This is what I've notice so far and figure I'd post it here. I did a search and didn't find any other bug report related to this issue. If I over looked one, my apologies.
Thanks. -
I'll have to try the buffing them trick and see if that works to bring them back into control.
At the moment I just try to remember to dismiss all before I exit the mission just so this doesn't happen.
Anyways I'm going to post in the bugs forum about this too. I did a search in there and so far haven't found a previous topic talking about this.
edit: Have bug post, feel free to add there with your experiences. Here -
Just seeing if anyone else has experienced this, since I-16 came out and MM's pets now stay when zoning.
I've notice when I play any of my MM's that after about the 2nd mission that I zone out of, and have not dismiss/resummon my pets, my pets follow me around but I cannot control them. My pet window shows no active pets and it takes several minutes before the game slowly brings my grayed inactive pets back into my pet window to control.
Anyone else experienced this? And may know if its a bug or something I may be doing wrong?
Thanks.

Edit: I've posted this also in the Tech/Bugs forum. Here's the link. Masterminds and Pets when zoning. -
Oooh this sounds like a fun task
I'll start collecting data too this weekend. -
Oh and don't mention your after neg reps
Else they will swamp you with lots of greens, and if its greens you are really after, good strategy -

My only goal is to get one blue side AT to 50 so I can have at least one fifty on both blue and red.
