I soloed this morning and after only 10 minutes of play I had 8 temp costumes drop, as well as the halloween tip mission.

Now, for the last 2 hours or so I have ben SSKed to a team running in PI. I am a in the high 30's. I have had no costumes drop since. Nor have I had them drop on the character I have switched to, also SSKed up.

It looks like if you want costume drops, you're going to have to solo.

This is not WAI. I am on a toon right now that I made for GR, so this is her first time ToTing. I have progress showing towards clothes horse, yet I do not have a single temp costume power anywhere in my inventory. I have another toon who was made earlier this year, first time ToTing...she obtained clothes horse an hour ago and again, no temp costume powers in her inventory. I've scrolled through the entire power tab and looked through all of my bars...nothing.

This is bugged. Big time.

Meh, either way, maintanance has its window. In my time zone is always 7 - 9am. They should really make it 7 - 10 or 7 - 11 because they seem to need that much time every maint. period.

And the Euro support should be posting in the EU section. IMO, of course.

What I'm sick of, is how they make an official announcement saying that the servers are up, when they aren't. The post saying the servers are up was made a while ago. I still can't log in here. Nearly everytime this happens the servers are down for another 30 - 90 minutes. *That* is what I'm annoyed with.


Oh, and good to know what I'll be facing when I move to AU in another 4 weeks.

I competed on every server except for 3, and Virtue was the first (and only) server where they announced it was a concept contest. It seemed like every rule flew the coop when it was time for the contest on Virtue...new rules seem to come into play, too.

If it was truly a concept contest, then bios should have been read. I spent time creating a bio for one of my toons, explaining not only her look and her powers, but exactly what she was and where she came from. The bio pulled it all together, but I don't think it was even glanced at. The server where that happened...let's just say ALL the females went to the semi-finals because not a lot of people showed. It certainly wasn't called a concept contest on that server!

So...why a concept contest on Virtue only?

I'll bring something. Not sure what just yet, probably my dom.

Well after 10am central and I can't even log in with my main account. I can't get in with my one that is currently inactive, either.

After one of my attempted log ins, my browser popped up with the log in page for NCSoft, the thing trying to tell me I don't even have an account. That's certainly something I haven't seen the game do before.

I think its silly that a few of you are scolding him for rushing. This game is easy enough that you can get to level 20 in a single day through duoing. I know, I've done it. Granted it takes hours to do it, depending on your difficulty settings, but why tell him he shouldn't be 25 yet? He said that he was teaming up with people while he was playing, and 1 - 25 in 2 days is very possible when you do nothing but team.

I can shoot you a million or two as well if you like.

I agree. He wasn't wrong. And frustration is NOT the same thing as anger. maybe it is to you, but not to many other people.

If you don't like the post...move on. Why spend the energy to moan about his post? Who cares.

And I'll bet we never hear the reason why they were down for almost 4 hours. =P

I had a redname PM me asking for the other log, Since i was unable to PM it, I thought I'd just post it here. But I can't do that either.

The crashing has returned. I tried posting my dxdiag log, but the forums aren't allowing me to post it. It says there are too many symbols being used, and its too long. How much of this do I need to post?

We ran a cleaning software and then did a graphics driver update and patched windows with all the latest updates.

I have no had a single crash since. Here's hoping it stays that way.

I have been having crashing issues over the last 3 weeks. At first, the crashes weren't very frequant, and were only happening every couple of days. Then the crashes began happening more and more. I would crash a couple of times a play session, which, for me can be in the realm of daily play for a few hours each time.

The last week and a half...I almost can't play at all. I crash within five - ten minutes everytime I log on. This is consistantly happening. This morning I crashed within 30 seconds if entering a mission on a 3 man team. I come back and within five minutes more, the entire thing locks up, sound loops for a few moments; then the BsoD pops up and my entire system restarts itself. This has actually happened twice. I am also not running maxed out settings, and have actually lowered them even more thinking that might be the problem. Although I wouldn't know why, because I never crashed in GR beta, bu am suddenly crashing now since its release.

I have tried to run a program called Gamebooster from IObit, at my husband's reccomendation. We have defragged, run countless scans of this and that - and plenty more that he could give you the details of, but I am unable to since I am not a PC guru. He says that he's basically done everything he can think of. except reinstall windows.

Do you all have any clue what might be causing this? Its frustrating because I can't play at all.

I know you all usually need logs of some type to look at, and if you tell me what they are, I will post them ASAP.

I've been there too. +0/X0 and an ambush bigger than I have ever seen triggered on an 8 man team before. Just how is a single player supposed to beat a 20+ critter ambush? You can pop all the insp. you want. Its not going to do anything helpful. And before anyone says it - getting a team together makes the ambushes worse.

There's one mish near the end of an arc where you have 5 minutes to kill 80 clockwork. Oh, that scales up if you're on a team. Who the F can take down *800* of the damn things in 5 minutes? No, that is not a typo. That's what you get on an 8 man team.

We also finally had to give up on one of the missions and drop it when the boss, a dual blade character, was able to hit me with his blades from 500 feet across the room.

I understand that they made Praetoria harder on purpose, because people whined that the early game was too simple. Too simple is one thing...but some of these missions are damned impossible; solo or teamed.

Nothing has changed on that front. You must log out and log back in, in order to switch toons. Security measure, I believe.

I am not satisfied easily, and I never have been. I've been here almost 5 years now.
