You are missing the point. You had defeated him, you don't have to kill/stun him into oblivion. At this point all you had to do was get physically close enough to him him so that when you clicked on him the final dialog box would come up. And even the squishiest character can survive walking in lava long enough to do that.
So essentially you have told us you had done everything in the mission but the very final step and went outside and abandoned it.
Note all you have to do is click on him not attack at that point. -

btw tried the suggestion of killing the clones, didn't help he just spawned more :-(. I have completed this sucessfully in a team but solo with 3 different blasters no way.
and to rub salt in you can't auto complete the mission. -

I ran a LGTF, STF, and a Kahn TF started late in the evening.
Kahn TF was the last, and it was started at about 2:30 AM MST (4:30 EST/1:30 AM PST), and I saw quite a few other TFs being formed at those times...this was on Virtue.

Yes. It will take longer to get that uncommon boost. But you'll still get it! Everything so far that a team player can get, a solo player can get.
What's so hard to understand, that teaming will get you rewards faster?
Teaming gets people XP faster too, but you never heard people complain, "Unfair that teams get faster XP gain than me soloing".
Don't want to team, want to solo? Then solo. You will get the reward. It will take longer, but so what, soloing got you to 50 slower...no difference now with incaranate abilities. -

It's 11:30 pm in Australia and there were no lvl 50's in oro or PI but me :-( (on CoH Justice) I tried to solo the trapdoor mission with my archer blaster and gave up after 1/2 hour, I just couldn't dent him enuff with all his regen.
I see the same thing in the new GR content the devs egged on by the games uber elites have made the damn things so hard that it is no longer fun. -

I thought the idea behind this game was that teaming was optional and that everything could be acquired solo.
Now with this release I can't progress my 50's unless I do TFS, do the devs realise how hard it is to get a team together on some servers outside the US ?!
The time zone difference kills us. I am afraid if this doesn't change then this is the end of my 6 year run with this game.

Fine if we're gonna get rid of stuff just because a few people find them annoying then we can get rid of Speed Boost as well. From what I've seen on the forums more people find that power annoying than the temp power recipe drops.
This should be an easy no programing change. -
Nobody wants these things and yet they seem to drop more often now than any other recipe.
Make them fixed price item purchases at the markets and give me back some decent drops . -

My Guess is that you probably swapped from the 4800 series to the 57xx card and the system still has the 48xx card as a primary rendering device somewhere.
When you put the 4800 series card back, it's now rendering to the correct device.
Remember: CoH is one of the only Commercial games on the market to leverage OpenGL 3.0+ at this time. Outside of Unigine's Heaven demo: http://unigine.com/ :: there isn't much you can lay hands on right now that's running code compiled against / towards OpenGL 3.0+

The game started randomly crashing no matter what I was doing :-( I removed the HD5750 card and replaced it with a 4800 series card and the problems have gone away.
I didn't remove or change the drivers.
The 5750 card only caused problems in CoH so I guess there is some in-game setting causing the problem ?? I reset the in-game options to defaults and that didn't help. -

Trying to use organic armour pieces at the tailor causes my PC to lockup. Screen goes black and I have to reset. ATI HD5750 card.
It does not lock up straight away but it crashes before I can finish all my changes. Sometimes it crashes in the power customisation screen but only if I pick any of the new costume pieces. -

Over the years (4) I have logged a number of bug reports for different bits of the game and none of them have ever been fixed.
