Ditto. I've done the same thing for several years, here and elsewhere, including always referring to my significant other as 'spouse' instead of wife/hubby. It just seems to make things simpler...

I've been addressed as both genders (and one, of course, is wrong), but I just respond as if gender was never brought up. Never have had any issues.

I do hate to say it, E_L, but I do read your posts in a feminine voice in my head solely because of your sig. Most posts are in a bland-ish newscaster voice to me.

Funnily enough, GG is the same way.
