Gearing up for the next ingame costume contest. 8pm CST (less than two hours away). No theme this time so just bring your best costume whatever it may be and wow me. Virtue server under Atlas (or west wing of City Hall if it needs to go indoors).

I know all won't share my view on this, but since I've won one of the pieces in the contest I won't be competing for any of the other prizes.

I'd rather that everyone have a shot to get their own piece of art rather than me trying to get more free art.

It's my own personal view, and I don't begrudge those that don't share that view. It's just the one I'll stick with.

Thanks Llydia I am glad people had fun with it and I've heard back that some of the artists
have received commissions as a result so it's win win as far as I am concerned.

I also noticed an interesting trend, in the beginning many were showing up
to the ingame events just for the billions in influence I was giving away.
But at every event DD and I constantly mentioned the coXso DA page
(and she would give announcements every hour on the hour leading
up to a contest) with the list of art prizes and over time the chatter
during the events changed from people talking about how much they
wanted the influ to people immediately wanting to know what art prizes
were up for grabs and 3 actually gave the influ back... they had only come
for the artz. I recognized some of the names/globals as art savvy regulars but
many were brand new and mentioned specifically coming just for a chance to win art.

It's a little thing but it made me smile. It's been a while since something game related did that.
P.S. Great summary DD... team coXso indeed.

Okay so the contest wrapped but the other two 3D artists just got back to me now and I got several comments and notes that people really were waiting on/wanted a shot at winning those so I am making one final awarding day exception. After this there will be no more. So last chance puzzles and number guess coming soon!

Once again, thank you so very much for all the time and energy that you've spent doing this, CR! And the same to DD and all of the other artists that have contributed their talents.

It pains me to see this game shut down, but this series of contests brought back so much positivity and enjoyment surrounding this game for myself. And that is simply fantastic, so I am grateful to you (and to all of the community/contestants who made it so much fun to be a part of as well) for helping my CoH time be fun again. And I didn't even win anything, haha (except for the best rewards of fun and smiling).
