I actually did try to get hold of Tom deSanto to ask him, "If you're not going to actually do anything with the movie rights to COH, would you be interested in selling them?"
(No joke - even if I did the whole thing as machinima a la Red vs Blue, I was going to try and get it funded, take a year off work and make a full-length film, voice actors, full score, the whole schmear.)
Unfortunately, no luck.

I actually think a CoH/CoV movie would have done very well; if the script were well written etc etc....
HAD a movie ever been made I definitely think it would have put A LOT of life into CoH.
I don't think it would have been an AVENGERS but I think it would/could have been a box office success.

Plenty of materials, plenty of already made characters, decent storylines but you know how that goes sometimes. Remember Doom? My god, I was like wtf? That could have been an awesome movie. Hell, Doom 3 was practically a movie already made. And now the movie reputation of that game is tarnished for a very long time.

What ever became of that COH movie that was talked about for a relative short period of time? Has it been completely abandoned or just still stuck in movie development hell?
