Assassin's Creed
Back on topic from this heinous hijack!
Finished AC1. Very pretty game. Pretty cool story, if not utterly predictable. Definitely repetitive but I found that once I maxed out my life bars in the first city or two, I didn't see the need to continue doing all of the view points, citizens, side missions, etc. Once I learned that the 1000ish flags spread in the game didn't actually do anything for you, at least on a PC, I didn't even bother with those either.
Started AC2 and it got even prettier, far more in depth of control/what to do, and so far seems a little bit more free so far. I don't know if it's an Ubisoft thing or just AC series, but the intros / tutorials in these games are just weird and seem out of place. They work for what they need to do, but definitely not a traditional tutorial.
I have the rest of the series to play through and then another 3 games after that. I fear for whatever steam sales happen
I've already forgotten about most of you
In other gaming news, I completed my first run of Borderlands 2 last night. I found the ending more satisfying than the original, but Jack is an annoying villain... no one is THAT evil!
Now I need to get my lvl 34 Zero to 50 in the second run, and I'm working on a Siren and Mechromancer as well. Really liking how the Mechro plays... but the bot is almost too powerful. Girlfriend class indeed.
