Turning Off Hasten Effects
You could turn off the auto fire before you log off, then turn it back on again after you log in and before you start fighting
We were going to get the ability to turn off visual effects on Hasten in I24.

We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
I've never been one to use Hasten (except for one character), but you can cancel some powers by right clicking on the buff icon beneath your health/status bar.
I am not positive if Hasten is one of the powers we can do that with. It works for buffs that others cast on you. It was added... hrm... Issue so and so... a couple of issues ago, hehe.
and round up everyone that knows more than they do"-Dylan
Cut and paste this into chat:
/macro FXoff "SuppressCloseFx 1$$SuppressCloseFxDist 255"
This will create a button in your power tray that, when clicked, will turn off most visual effects from most powers.
/macro FXon "SuppressCloseFx 0"
And this will create a button that will turn the visual effects back on.

Yeah.... just don't click Hasten >.>

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
As things roll toward November, I want to document my heroes using Sentinel and take some screenshots of them. Unfortunately, most of them have Hasten on Auto, which means that not only do I have to go through the fun of logging off and loading up, but they have fiery Hasten Hands for a while once they appear.
Is there a an option in Options to turn that off so that my heroes will be normal-handed when I log on to to take screenshots? And while I am asking, is there a place that has the MP3 of theme music on the Hero log-in screen? Thanks in advance! |
Surely disabling the autofire and letting Hasten's remaining duration expire then taking your screenshot and if you want it to autofire reset that again after would be easier.
As for the theme music - there was another thread recently asking about it - and saying where to find it. You will probably need to convert it to MPĀ£ if that is your required format though.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"
"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."
