Is Starfire still a bimbo?
I would not say that she is. Its her story arc in Red Hood and the Outlaws right now, so there's spaceships and Tamaranians and Blackfire. Its been pretty interesting so far.

I think she means the character that was intro'd in the New 52. As in, the vapid, emotionless sex puppet that she was turned into. Has there been any change to her character? I wouldn't know as the local grocery store doesn't get that particular title.
I know what she meant. I read the title. And its something of an internet mischaracterization. The writer and artist could have handled it better I assure you, but vapid sex puppet is not accurate.

They took away what she was, however, a character full of hope and emotion. They made her the exact opposite of what she was. I'm not interested in her as part of the Outlaws and yes, the writers over reached. I just found out that two comic stores near me don't even have enough demand to carry more than those ordered for box holders and some of them even pass on it. "Whew" sorry I want the preNew52 version back. Glad I didn't find any copies today.

In my personal opinion the new version of Starfire was so horrible, especially compared to the previous versions of the character, that i didn't want to see more of the comic. Why would you start a series by seeming to affirm every negative stereotype about females in superhero comics anyway? Especially if you're actually going to write a fleshed out character in later issues. "Hey, we got rid of all the people who find vulgar sexist stereotypes of women in comics offensive. Now we can start to tell the sort of nuanced character story they'd enjoy if they hadn't all gotten disgusted and stopped reading. Go us!"
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
Sorry, before this forum goes down I need to know if I can go look for her in a book and not be ashamed again. BTW vid of my main meeting the NON-Bimbo Starfire will be coming soon *smile*.
