PYF CoH Memories

I haven't played this game for a couple of years ago but i heard they were sutting the servers down which was a shame. My fondest memory of the game was killing FOTM kids in Recluse's Victory on my Ice/Ice dominator with some other villains on Virtue. IOs had just come out and people got hella mad at permadom, with crybabies coming to the forums to ask for us to be banned for exploiting and hurting their feels . The most memorable moment though was when this rude dude showed up one day and liked being dominated...

Yeah...

Also shoutout to the CaH/VC crew even though i can't post there any more. It was fun posting about videogames and Doctor Who and Twilight before they clamped down on it.

So what are your favourite CoH memories?

I remember seeing the construction site for the Arena way back before Galaxy City was destroyed and then seeing said Arena.

I remember hitting level 50 with my namesake, Cursed Sorcerer.

I remember my first character I made, Sir Slasher (Also 50 and Incarnate.) (I remember how ugly his first costume was because I didn't really get the hang of the character creator at first.)

I remember the awesome Praetorian Surge event. And Mako Week. I remember the Hollows. (How painful it was to travel using only Hover (and maybe not even that.)

I remember having fun playing the Forum Games (Corrupt a Wish, Last Person to Leave a Reply Wins, Pick 1, list 3.)

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

When I first started CoH I had never played an online game before. I was so green and such a noob! I had been on about 3 days, and someone asked to team. I was SO thrilled. They promptly ported me to the tallest building in Atlas...and quit. I stood at the top of the building not knowing what to do. If I jumped and died, would I have to recreate my character again? (Told you I was green.) Finally, I jumped...didn't die but came close. The next day I was invited to an sg, the Sons of Horus. The people in that sg were the most helpful, patient and kindest folks I ever met. A big tanker named Painstake took me under his wing and he became like a brother to me. We are still friends after 8 years.
