Is there any way to save anything of our arcs,by storing them locally or something? I have all the text from mine on my PC, but I was wondering if there was anything else i could do.

I had no idea you were still around.

Far as I know, going into the MA building, bringing up an arc and clicking 'save" is the best and only thing you can do, it'll keep the text for you (be sure and move it out of the COH folder when you uninstall the game - screenshot folder too!).

TC man, I always liked reading your posts because you always seemed to like my arcs.

I loved them. I'll be playing The Secret World, if you or anyomne else wants to continue fighting the fight.

it's not the same, but it's not bloody WoW I guess.

I bounced over to their website and took a look and liked the idea of it, but I think what I'm really going to miss about this game was not so much playing (not that I didn't play) but creating. It was always a great place for all sorts of ideas I might get for characters, stories, etc. The fighting and level progression was secondary. I'm trying to think of a good replacement for that creative outlet in my life right now, one that also shares my work easily with others, and I'm not sure another MMO will be that.

Or I might hop on TSW very soon, who can say for sure?

One thing you could do, like I am planning, is to record your arc. You can use FRAPS or whatever type of recording device is available. This can always be uploaded to youtube.

NCSOFT may take away our servers and beloved dev team, but they can't break our spirit and community. with all your power, NCSOFT, your victory will be bitter-sweet. I, personally will be there to laugh at you when you face-plant into the ground.

Clave, I agree. I have barely been playing the game itself. Never even explored any of the epic stuff, but have spent a lot of time working on arcs over the last year.

Going to miss the creative outlet and community that supports it.

Try out my AE Arcs! (solo friendly, canon related, & some contest winners)

This is what I intend to do.

A few things to remember about demo recording.
1. It doesn't get sounds.
2. It doesn't seem to render invisible/transparency effect.
3. A demo recording stops automatically when you zone, so start recording after entering mission.
4. As above, you'll need a separate demo recording for each mission of your arc.
5. On the plus side, you can edit things later to your heart's contentment, doing things AE never let you do before. Go nuts. Let your bosses monologue. Have your hostages give you an airguitar salute before they run for the door. Zoom up, change angles, and turn the thing into an extended cutscene.
