Downsize to 1-3 servers?

Would that be cost cutting enough to keep the game alive? Keep Freedom,Virtue and one other or just use two bring everyone to freedom and virtue.

Not sure how many PS people would be able to keep there jobs but its atleast some.

Positron, can we atleast see some pictures of The Batallion? I so wanted to fight these guys and I don't even know what they look like.

Anyway Just thought I would throw the sever thing out there to ponder.

That would work maybe if they where doing this because COH and Paragon Studios was losing money. Instead they are closing the game and studio for the loss write off they can put in their accounting books.

I doubt NCSoft is listening at this point to suggestions. They've never been ones to try to keep a game around (they kill MMOs, while most other companies just push them into maintenance mode).

Positron is doing a big 'reveal all' event, next week I believe. I thought he posted about it on his Twitter, but I just checked and don't see it (someone else posted about it). We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

The servers are virtualized IIRC. And moving people would mean character name conflicts, space issues, SG base losses and would likely serve to just drive people away.

Drive people away? As opposed to..you know..closing the game and everyone being..driven away?
I am sure it isnt easy to do, if they were listening. It still would 'work'.

For them to do so, they'd actually need to have people here to do it.

Plus, as mentioned, they are virtualized. It's not like they have a bunch of *physical* servers to shut down and save costs or whatever on.
