Time for some more leg costume optoins?

With the Tech Knight set coming and all I was faced with this issue again. We ether need a 3rd color on the lets or have a leg detail slot added.

If you notice that both of these are two colored. The tubes with lights on the chest are a chest detail color-able separately from the chest.

While you could have the armor part of the chest matching the coloring of the metal part of the chest detail, while the fabric part a 3rd different color, you are left with the lacking legs. The legs have both the fabric and the lights on the same secondary color. If you are going for a coherent set, you need to decided to restrict to two colors or deal with the non-matching top and bottom leaving the base connecting fabric at odds, or about ditching the lights on the legs.

So there are two changes to the options that can fix this.

1. Have a leg detail option so that the tubes and lights of the legs can be colored separately.
2. Add a 3rd color.

I don't care ether way. Adding another costume slot would be great, adding multiple new options like knee pads and other items. While the 3rd color option might be a good step for other costume parts else where on the body.

So what do you think?

I know some of you might think this is never going to happen, but I think we already know that, I ask if you could please leave that to yourselves, it is not going to help anyone.

Delete the word 'simply' from #2, and I'd probably agree with #1. As it stands,

Simply stop suggesting things that aren't going to happen, and this won't be a problem.

Well that is what people said about a way to implement a loyalty catch up system by using money, I got horrifically flamed for such a suggestion, and look at us now. So any such arguments such as a simple no, or never going to happen, really probably don't know anything about the dev side of things. So interest or Lack of interest is all that is really viable in these suggestion threads really.

Thanks for your support though.

:P

P.S.
I wouldn't be so enthusiastic about it if I wasn't flamed so badly, then heard no anger about it on the forums toward the devs for it afterwards.

P.P.S. Most clocks have a AM and/or PM indicator.

Most analog clocks do not.

I may be misremembering, but I believe it's been flat out stated that we can't have more than two colours for any given selection.

Leg details could open up some options, but I think there's a technical limitation there having to do with the limited number of attachment points or something.

Basically, I would love to see either option implemented if they are possible.

As an aside: What you fail to mention here is that this change happened alongside a complete overhaul of the Veteran Reward system as well as the addition of a completely new payment structure for the game. The issue with the "let's just buy vet. reward time" suggestion was due mostly to the environment that existed when you suggested it. Now? Well, it makes a lot more sense.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled discussion of costume stuff... already in progress.

Pretty much this.

We've been told repeatedly that costume items can't have more than two colours, yet every costume item saved in a costume file has listings for four colours. Moreover, capes and the trenchcoat coat tail support four colours. I don't know what the problem is, but clearly ways exist to work around it.

More to the point - I've always wanted to see an "upper leg detail" option. I've heard the stories of costume mounting slots running out, but I've seen numerous instances of multiple costume items attached to the same slot. If need be, attach "leg details" the same way as skirts are.

But all of this aside, I really do think leg options are a must. Our upper bodies get shoulders AND a chest detail AND a belt, but upper legs get nothing. You can kind of ape leg details with a small selection of belts, but I'd like to see a much wider selection of leg details that aren't attached to the waist.

This is exactly why I added that last sentence to my OP. We really don't know what is going on behind the scenes. So all we can do is show support to something like this.
