*sighs* My apologies Planet J, I forgot to mention... this is the only TW build I dont want to do, your build is VERY good, problem is I just finished IOing my Dark/Dark Scrap, and would rather not have 2 dark toons, sorry if I wasted your time there, builds nice but prefer something other than dark.
I like my TW/Elec brute. Can you be clearer about what secondary you're looking for if /dark is no good...?

About the TW/DarkArmor.
I cannot judge without playing it but I have the slight feeling that this build wouldnt be solo sustainable even with T4 Ageless (mostly on the sacond half of the duration) without buff. Of course I cannot see the impatc of x3 perf shifter procs.
When missioning and traveleing packs to packs it should be ok, but dont you end up with troubles on high melee uptime fights?
I also wonder what is the real impact of damage procs and, moreover, of -res procs. TW has plenty of attacks to carry Achile's Heel. Your build has very few damage proc, how much do they imact overall DPS?

About the Elec build:
Is it THAT important to focus on end cost (both attack slotting and EPP) if you reach perma Energized?
I have the feeling Darkest Night + Agility would be better than Energy + Spiritual.
Do you think you benefit more of End more IOs than Proc shifter in passive End toys?
The build is already quite expensive (Glad +def pretty much already cost more than the whole rest), maybe you can have use of some Hamies and Purp up at least one of the Oblit sets.

About the TW/DarkArmor.
I cannot judge without playing it but I have the slight feeling that this build wouldnt be solo sustainable even with T4 Ageless (mostly on the sacond half of the duration) without buff. Of course I cannot see the impatc of x3 perf shifter procs. |
I'm running a very similar TW/DA build, and the +end IOs carry it. I still don't really understand how they work, because they don't seem to impact the endurance pool, and yet they seem to create staggering amounts of endurance recovery.

So for someone with 100 EndMax, (20% chance X 10% of endurance X 100 end)/10 sec = 0.20 end/sec. Which isn't small.
This scales upwards if you have accolades, set bonuses, or powers that increase it, of course, and those can start to add up if you have one in Stamina, one in Physical Perfection and one in Superior Conditioning.
My main issue on Dark is that its pretty much impossible to run or even pick Darkest Night and I have the feeling ElA or WP WITH Darkest Night would be tougher than Dark Armor without.
I was also thinking TW/Elec.
Here are my concerns upfront:
1) TW/Elec is extremely dependent on recharge for it to be effective.
2) The main thing that has -recharge are cold and psi enemies.
3) The build does not have high amounts of defense to cold or psi, making it more vulnerable to 2.
I wanted a build that included:
1) Decent amount of resists (inherent).
2) Respectable level of defense (built).
3) Massive amounts of recharge (built).
4) Utilizes momentum "dumps" for playstyle.
5) Wasn't encumbered by lack of endurance.
6) Has enough accuracy to get most attacks across.
This is what I came up with. Some will say I've overslotted this or that, and that's fine. I plan on using AoE attacks for the bulk of my hits. Some will say I don't have enough recharge. They're crazy. I have Perma-Hasten, and that's enough for me. Once the force feedbacks start rolling, it'll be insane.
I use the force feedbacks to try to overcome any -recharge. I use the Agility and Ageless to put me up to high levels of recharge- and Ageless again to overcome -recharge asap to keep me in the game.

Dark Armor has some of the strongest composite resists in the game, plus soft controls and a damage aura. Dark Armor will do LOTS of DPS with TW...and so I am extremely happy with my build so far....I have 117.2 endurance too I should mention...so the perf shifter procs go a long way.
As for FT, you are not missing anything...FT is used in the BM Chain 3 times and the non BM chain 2 times. It is the second highest DPA attack in the set...and well worth taking.
Someone who did not take it is missing an enormous part of the set.

btw how do you overcome endo drain as TW/DA? I mean like Arachnos heavy Mu or Freakshows?
I'v red earlier that brutes are better than Scraps for TW/-, I understand why for Elec (higher res cap), I still dont get why for DA.
Before I start I know another post is incredibly similair, but that post mentioned some secondaries it didnt want, and asked for a 500mill build, I need a strong secondary to pair with Titan Weapon, I dont care whether it can farm, but I do want it to be tough enough to handle Av's and have enough damage to kill mobs on +4 x8 effectively moneys no object, please shoot the builds thanks in advance.
