Why you should stop inviting people to DFB...

that doesn't really work.

I mean in an ideal world, sure.
But in this world, it's much easier, faster and more reliable to pre-form your squad then join the queue.

If you want that to change, you'll need to talk the devs into makeing some fundamental improvements to the queue system.

To be honest, the only part of it I remember is that awful dual-AV fight at the end. That alone makes it not worth the price of admission.

Zaloopa is correct - I have run plenty of DFB's recently with just 4-5 people and you still get AV's at the end of each section. The flipside to this is that killing the AV's with just 4 people can be really hard, especially if you ended up with a bad team mix - so the arguement for 6+ is still good, just for different reasons.

I actually do use the LFG queue when I am not in the mood to either form a group myself or hang around waiting for one. I go off and run the low level arcs or do paper missions in KR and sometimes I get a ding from the Queue and sometimes I don't.

That hasn't been my impression. The two Hydra Heads have always been a pushover. The underlings are easy enough to take out and the bulk of the heads' offence is avoidable "patch" attacks. I've never had trouble with them.

I think they're talking about the 2 AV's at the end of DIB. I've been on teams that broke against the two shivan(?) AV's.

I don't think I'd ever want to run a DFB with 4 or less people again. My first time running it, we had most of the team leave and we ended up with 3 people (well 4 actually, but one went AFK in the middle of fighting the lost and never came back). The Hydra fight was fun XD two blasters and my newbish DB scrapper

DIB is.....ok. I would run it at least once on a character, although that AV duo was a PITA....ok maybe I would skip it. I'd rather run Synapses TF. Multiple times.
