Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the final round of the FArt Battle of 2012!!
Take a look at what went on in the earlier rounds:

August's theme:
Four Seasons
This is a multipanel must-be or some other way to show it, as I want to see all seasons in one submission!
Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Seasons are not quite yet part of the City of Heroes realm, but that doesn't mean we can't use it in CoH related art!

Pointing the following settings out:
Deadline:
The deadline of this theme is set on August 29th at midnight Eastern US time (UTC-05).

Early Bird Vote:
Every artist that submits his/her piece before the 15th of August at midnight Eastern US time (UTC-05), is granted a 3rd place vote.

Influence prizes for this month:
1st place: 200 million influence in-game
2nd place: 100 million influence in-game
3rd place: 50 million influence in-game

Bonusprize:
The winner in this final will win a head/bust drawing by the one and only David Nakayama of a City of Heroes related character chosen by the winner!!

Made it! Well.. made SOMEthing



For info: I know, it's not all drawn, unfortunately. I did plan to do so. As I'm in the middle of a big move, I simply don't have the time, but I wanted to come up with SOMEthing as I have done that thoughout the whole battle. I did paint/made the main things though (like the flowers, leaves, snow borders, Liberty Girl, Amerikatt, Sidekick Sam). Just not the backgrounds.

Mind that picture/screenshot manipulation does not count in this battle. Backgrounds may be added, but be sure to credit the right people/stuff for it. The main things have to be done by the artists themselves.

Seasons of the Widow


Primavera: Sister Airlia
Estate: Belladonna Vetrano
Autunno: Night Widow Vetrano (my concept based on Arachnos rank structure)
Inverno: Ghost Widow

This idea actually sprung from what I was going for last month, and hope to expand upon at a later date. Art Nouveau inspired, done with Copic markers.

Yes, Lacey is a drag queen. Lacey is absolutely one of my favorites to draw because I can put her in pretty much anything wild and crazy.

Winter
name: Cassandra Staci Winters
CoX name: Triple Lutz Shot (Virtue)
Cassie was formerly a figure skater, an Olympic hopeful until her mutation manifested and covered the Olympic trials in a sheet of ice.

Seasons of the Widow is a fine piece of work. I wish I had the motivation to have done something on this. (Also, i seem to have only found out about it a few hours before the deadline, and I am really not the fastest artist in the west lol)

Lief-Nin's piece is well done. I enjoy some of the expressions captured and the overall feel of the work.

My 1st choice would be "Seasons of the Widow"

ack.. well its before the deadline.. didnt get shadowing done though..

This is my water blaster "Tarty"...


Panel One: Tarty fighting a Mamba Blade in Mercy (choking him with water) Island during Summer..
Panel Two: Tarty fighting a Wailer in St. Martial (strangling him with water) during Spring...
Panel Three: Tarty fighting a Fir Bolg in Croatoa (filling his head with water) during Fall..
Panel Four: Tarty and all her water, getting frozen by a laughing Frostling..

@Blue_Centurion: The FArt Battle has been running all year . Entering the battle was due in March so actually submitting something to have a chance at a David Nakayama drawing was out of the question anyway

However.. you will get a chance to officially vote for your favourite (that goes for everybody )!
I'll need atleast a 1st and 2nd choice.
