New to Stalkers, need some help with Staff/Nin
Ok now these are some minor tweeks...you may or may not want to utilize them.
First off i assume from the IOs that you also probably have access to enhancement boosters.....so eventualy when you reach level 47...you will want to use the boosters in the level 50 Invention origins.
Ok so aside from that....you enhanced blinding powder alot....I am going to be honest here and tell you...you are not going to get a super huge amount of milage from that....its neat...the power sounds great but seriously the energy used and usage in general and such for it...you might as well just attack and kill the targets...they wont be hitting you anywise...
I personaly would maybe single or double slot it at most...
My reason for that is to get extra slots to fix your defense hole....namely knock back....
You want to get some Karma inventions of knock back protection.....you will probably want to put 3 of them at least around your build....best places are in hide, and combat jump and maybe weave.
The other place I noticed something i might alter is the stamina with three slots....you have an extra endurence Invention origin there....you could take that out and put that slot into one of you other endurence recovery powers you got from the body mastery pool...and slot in a performance shifter endurance one to get another set bonus....not a big deal...just again a minor tweek.
Another minor tweek....and this is because alot of people never think about this stuff.....an irritating thing is that hide has alot of stealth but even with that...some things...namely some monsters and some other stupid encounters will have perception just enough to sometimes see you.....noticed this while collecting explore badges in eden.
Anywise i suggest a celerity Invention get put into your prefered sprint....that should put you just over the idiot monster perception if you toggle it on with hide so they dont attack you right off if say you want to get badges in eden....also it will increase your stealth in pvp if you do that.
Anywise thats just what i suggest....Your Standard leaping turtle builds works well but does not have much room to do much more with out some major changes and that would change the way it plays way too much.
And since you are level 38 you are used to what you have.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I put some fresh eyes on it and came up with something that seems to make a lot more sense.
Not sure what I was thinking with Blinding Powder. I think I must have been excited about Ninjitsu at the time, lol. All it really did was mess with my 5x rule for the 5% recharge bonus.
I left the knockback protection at -4, mostly because I've yet to find that I need more than that, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it and add more if it seems like I need it.

A few things are a bit overslotted. Switch out Smoke Bomb because it is quite terrible at what it does and switch it in for Serpent's Reach for your single target chain. I was a bit surprised I didn't find the Stalker ATO set in Assassin's Strike, as that is your most important attack as a Stalker. Shift the slots in your defensive powers, 3 or 4 slots should be enough. 4-slot stamina with Performance Shifter in case of endurance problems, and replace the proc in Superior Conditioning with an Endmod instead to increase your maximum endruance, 2 procs should be enough.
This is what I have for comparison. I redid the build to make some comparisons and picked up Maneuvers, Assault and Tactics. My Endurance usage increased, my DPS increased by about 10 points and I picked up better status resistance numbers. My Defenses decreased a bit and I had to rework IOs to obtain Defense cap with Hide Suppressed.
End result I like this build better.
Alpha slot wise I could have went with Agility which would really kick up my defenses real close to Incarnate defense numbers. One purple would put me over Incarnate defense numbers when including Hide suppressed. With the debuffs and hit buffs incarnate mobs offer I would guess it is a plus. But beyond the defense numbers the recharge did nothing for me. It cut 1 second off a few powers at most. So in the end I went with Musculature for the overall DPS increase.
The heal ( kunji-In Sha ) is on a 20 second recharge. I could either go Barrier for the resistance numbers or Rebirth for the heal.

The character is currently 38 and barreling toward 50, so I've started to work on his build. He's an alt, so I don't want to spend TOO much cash on him.
I managed to get over the defense softcap and get reasonable recharge, but a few things are bothering me. I'd like more recharge on my self-heal. I'd like to actually be able to run Tough with full slotting.
The build just generally needs help. I've done plenty of tanker builds, but stalker is proving to be a lot different. Any input from the Stalker pros would be helpful.
