Small idea for teleport
Teleport could use a slightly longer hover period. HOWEVER, it should come with a cancel on forward movement provision as well. This way, when you're done TPing, you can begin to move quickly just by pressing a forward movement key.

Did they take away the hover effect that was already put in place to keep people with slow connections/computers from falling quite so much?

I just wish they would add the fast upgraded hover to TP and not the old super slow (and unenhancable in TP) hover.
The hover speed should be as fast as sprint. That will fix the TP near a mission door and just be out of rech of clicking it. Then super slow hover a little bit to be able to click it giveing you the normal mission entrance speed.
I have a very fast connection and a good PC. Sometimes you have to turn though and that begins the fall.
This is all from just TP from a Warshade though. I do not have the option of adding hover.I don't know if adding hover overrides the TP slow hover.
I'm sure this is suggested many times but anyway
Perhaps we all know that teleport travel power is very hard for many people. Actually I'm ok with it but still it's slightly annoying sometimes. I have one very old character with some cool macro and I can instantly shift+click TP with that but not even slightest chance to remember that pretty long thingy. Well it's not help new players anyway.
Perhaps this is new... or not... well necroposting is bad bad thing here anyway. So adding 2 seconds hover after teleport would help people with slower computers and give some time to make new TP. It would make teleporting more flexible and useful if you don't fall down after every single TP. I think 2 seconds more will not break immersion and is balanced enough. It could be easy fix enough.
Does this sound good? I have deja vu feeling about TP fix ideas but I'm not sure if they were little bit different.
edit. I meant 2 seconds more and with proper hover like you can move a little bit. Maybe with the good old slow hovering speed
