Future Magisterium iTrial badge attempts

To this point, I have organized badge attempts on a Saturday evening/night and another on a Sunday evening/night.

Before I schedule a third, I want to get feedback from those who may not have had an opportunity to acquire the Triple Threat and Ready to Rumble badges from the previous two attempts.

What days/times are good for you?

If no one else requires Ready to Rumble and Triple Threat, I'm giving thought to moving on to attempting the Really Hard Way.

Are these run during the week at all?

If I wanted to get some experience tanking the Magi run and learn the different AVs, and strategies, this would be the perfect time to do it.

Edit: And by run through the week, I mean just any Magi run - not necessarily a MO run.

Typically, the Magisterium trial is run most week nights at least twice out of DA. It is often the last trial run in the progression of trials with typical recruiting for a that trial will often occur between 9 to 9:30pm Eastern (6 to 6:30 Pacific).

Most leagues start off with Lambda, BAF, Keyes, and TPN, before finishing the evening/night with one or two Magisterium trials. The trials are most often led by either Talbien or Huron, and occasionally I have lead them as well. On occasion (to shake up the monotony) an Underground, Mom, or DD will be run instead.

So, if someone felt they were denied an opportunity to get the badge, the nightly runs are an excellent opportunity to get experience doing it, and, also, this thread is an excellent opportunity to let T know of any scheduling concerns for the next attempt?

T, it doesn't seem there's anyone left who needs those badges.

I guess we should start on the Really Hard Way.

Let T know when's a good time for you.

I would love to get in on this - practice runs and badge attempts, but quite often will miss out because I learn of it too late.

Now that I know this is actually happening weeknights (yeah, I've been out long enough to not be aware of this) I will definitely try to get in on the action when I can.

My badger (inv/em tanker) still needs pretty much all the recent iTrial badges, plus a couple from the Keyes.

I can be available whenever the majority is by rescheduling non-COH stuff (except Tuesday and Wednesday of this week - PERC activity on those nights).

Thanks for running these T.

There hasn't been any activity in this thread for a few days. I know of a handful of people who are still missing Ready to Rumble and Triple Threat.

My intention is to schedule another attempt for the first weekend in August, either on the 4th or the 5th. A week before Captain Mako week/Double XP weekend.

My final choice of which day (Saturday or Sunday) will be determined early next week, and it can be influenced by feedback posted here.

Saturday evenings I can play, but teaming is out of the question since I work from Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon. I have these hours because I have no life and I've had problems finding people who'll work them reliably, and **** rolls uphill.

And Sundays are an absolute no go. I could probably get into the game. But after being up that long, I'd be totally and utterly fried. NOT exactly someone you want on a run where you need everyone alert and paying attention.
Reader's Digest version: Bummer, I can't go. Oh well, maybe next time.

Unless you have exactly 15 or 23 friends.
Because PUGs are an option for the trials, they should be mandatory.

If you're around during the week, there's always this option!

If you're still planning on the first weekend in August, they have announced it is Ritki Invasion that weekend.

Hyper, why didn't you speak up earlier? That was the whole point of this thread - to find out when we should schedule the next attempt. So why did you wait to say anything until after T set a date?

I'm really confused.

And the evening attempts would be a good time to show you can tank it... Since T only allows 3 tanks per run. Get your street cred, as it were.

That's true, but it's not like the leaders are going to be like "stop killing too fast or we might get <badge>!!

Plus it does give you the chance to learn the fight and strategy for later; plus gives you the chance to be a lead tank on a later badge run if all goes well.

It's win-win!

I'm not saying I don't understand the strategy. I do. I've been doing the Mag since it arrived on Beta and I'm one of the people who showed that The Really Hard Way wasn't really that...hard, leading to some of the tweaks so that it's like it is now.

I'm merely lamenting that my schedule pretty much prevents me from ever participating in dedicated badge runs over the weekend.
Hyper... why didn't you say something when this was posted? T was specifically trying to find out when people can do it.

And I think you must have missed when T clarified exactly what he expects from someone bringing a tank on a magi badge run. Being in on it on beta isn't on the list.

I have another toon that I would like to have those badges. So you can count me in. Sat. or Sun is good for me.

Lets see...

I see that Hyperstrike, Stalemate, Kult, and Mage Black posted that they are interested in getting Triple Threat and Ready to Rumble. I know of at least two more people who have privately voiced interest as well.

If we don't acquire the badges for those who expressed interested in the next advertized session, I will organize another sometime after Double XP weekend.

Although Hyperstrike has removed his posts, I will look into organizing the subsequent attempts on a weekday. My previous posted requirements for the lead Tank role still apply.
