Oh god, what did i do?

so i made a widow about a month ago and i had a friend lvl him to 20 so i could get as far away from redside as possible ( i hate redside, and yes i farmed, haters gonna hate) as soon as i was 20 i purchased an auto alignment change token and used it, today i read this:

i always thought that because they cannot get the hero patrons as a "base" they automatically got the redside pools instead. so is it true? do they have to do the arc just like everyone else or do they automatically get it, chances are that im a total idiot and i have to start doing ALOT of tips, let me know please.

Everyone has to do the arcs to unlock them, part of the lore of going redside. Just run through black scorpions, it's the fastest IIRC. Usually takes me around 60-90 minutes to unlock it this way if I just keep to the mission goals.

Take a deep breath, it's all ok. Tips drop fairly liberally through everyday play and, imo, few ATs can blitz through tips quicker than a Widow. A widow should be able to crank out 5 tips in no more than 1/2 hour.

Just to clarify, you can begin your patron arc at 35 (hasn't been mentioned in this thread, but 41 was).

If red side is truly that repulsive to you, then you can still flesh out your build with Widow powers and regular pools and be just fine.

For what it's worth I don't use any of the PPPs on my widow and am getting along fine with it. That being said I'm not an uber min-maxer so your mileage may vary. Personally I found that on a Fortunata between the Fortunata powers and the various pool powers I wanted I didn't really have room for a PPP anyway.
