So, is the intention to patch the event in on Thursday maintenance and then activate it on Friday or will there be Friday downtime instead?

The thing that interests me about this event is the Captain Mako Week graphic which shows people swimming in the sea. Could this be a hint that the tech has finally been developed for the much requested underwater zone?

I think the main reason Mako is on a rampage is because he found out he's not really the dolphin's cousin, in fact they're not even closely related; one's a fish the other's a mammal.
