I just got back into the game a few weeks ago after taking a break for over 2 years. I thought it was about time to give this toon a revamp but im not up to date on any of the pvp changes. It was 2 weeks after i came back before i knew fitness was inherent......lol. This is the build im thinking about respecing into soon. Any and all feedback would be great.

For my incarantes ill be running Musc. (thats the one with the 45% dmg right lol), Barrier or Rebirth depending on circumstances.. Phantoms for AB (come get me now therms), Ion, The interface with the fire Dot, and finally the alpha that has the chance to do a high portion of your damage on top of the original dmg.

Stats
1567 HPs
165% Recharge (with Hasten)
+32% Dmg Bonus
+77% Acc
+16.9% To Hit
+92% Range (with perma boost range)
Assuming Capped Run/Jump Speed and Height (unless they changed the DR with movement speed)

I really wanted the 46 KB instead of the 41 because a little part of me dies everytime i get KB'd in pvp so i need that to stop. My travel powers are hami'd out because i feel like travel speed is very important in RV while chasing and running.

The biggest concerns i have about the build is stealth and grant invis. I will rarely, if ever, use those powers, i only took them to slot karma KB protection to open up 2 more slots. They were 2 of the 3 powers i picked up once i didnt need to grab the fitness pool (third one was conserve power). Another thing is i noticed i have six 7.5% recharge bonus' yet when i remove a lotg i still lose the 7.5% recharge. Are lotgs considered a different bonus from the 7.5% on the Javelin set?? I would like to cap my HP but not sure what i should sacrifice to do that or if its even worth what i will lose.

a couple of notes - I don't think you need three micros in ss and sj,
the panacea proc in health is not really necessary and probably worth more to fund other ios purchases than sitting in health.
if you 5 slot end do 3 p/shifters and 2 efficacy adapters for better set bonus pairings
better to put those extra slots in hibernate to three slot numinas for the hp boost
get you alpha incarnate and drop 1 recharge from hasten

I am sure others can give you a better build but something like this I think not as much +dmg but you have powerboost/aim and bu for your dmg - with boost range (still perma) you are at 80 foot blaze range +300 foot snipe and 120 foot flares and blast - I frankenslotted flares since it does great dmg and is up faster than it finshes and blast proced up does more than blaze with a lot better range.

I would advise against concealment pool AND cold mastery just because you have no +res shield. Personally I would pick up fighting pool and take tough to make up for the lack of resistance.

If you have all +HP accolades you only need 1606 hp to cap so don't waste slots in hibernate to get +hp if already capped. This also means you can 5 slot stamina for the dmg bonus instead of a hp bonus that does nothing.

Imo put the +perception proc in somewhere, it really helps in zone pvp.

You can also 5 slot powerthrust with hecatombs unless you're sticking with TF like in your original build.

I would also only slot for 41 points of KB protection seeing as no one uses force bolt and no one does team arena anymore. Or slot for 46 like you said you wanted .

To answer your question, lotg 7.5 are different to 7.5 bonuses from IO sets, such as glad jav so you're cool to slot 5 lotg and 5 7.5 from sets.

Goodluck.

Thanks for the tips...

I worked on the build a little more tonight and think i got it where i want it. I took some of yalls ideas but kept a couple things to fit my play-style. Im keeping rain of fire because i find it very useful against stalkers and TF because of the bonus' i can get from it and when using it at the end of a combo with aim/bu on it does pretty devastating dmg and if im attacking with a teammate it can usually kill squishes from half hp as long as my teammate has a good attack coming as well. I thought about frakenslotting fire blast and blazing bolt but between the dmg bonus, recharge and kb protection i would lose (and have to slot for kb somewhere else) i dont think i would like it as much as i have it now..ntm i lose about 40 feet range on my snipe. I did however drop cold mastery and go with force with pff and a great resist shield and kept concealment and picked up phase-shift for an o-**** power because i seem to need one of those on a blaster quite a bit. I was able to keep stam 5 slotted for the dmg bonus then moved panacea to health and 5 slotted it for the range mostly (was only gonna be 4 for the hp but the more range i have the better). My hp finally reached cap and my dmg bonus actually went up to +34.5%. I run through alot of endo between RoF and snipes so im gonna keep conserve power.

If i remember correctly PFF doesnt have an external CD like hibernate and phase shift have right? My only concerns with having pff and phase shift is getting all my end sucked away before i get a chance to use it. I took almost all of the +kb from power thrust and its mag went down to 24.55, does that mean ill only be able to KB people will less than that amount protection? The way i see it most people have either 41KB protection or less than 10 so 24.55 seems like an okay mag to be at. Also why would i want power boost? It would of increased the heal from hoarfrost if i still had it and i guess the mag on my KB.. i think it increases to-hit bonus' also? I just dont see a huge need for it.

Edit: Im going to look into the alpha with +recharge and see if i can make up for the loss of dmg with more set bonus' but i got a feeling thats going to be hard. I just dont have enough time right now while im working long hours 6-7 days a week

Yes PFF has no phase timer if that was your concern but it does take a couple seconds to activate which in that time you can't pop greens, so make sure to PFF early.

Anyone half decent won't get KB'd by powerthrust even with it slotted for full KB that's why I usually just stick a hecatomb set in there unless I'm taking KO blow from the epics like I have on my psy/em.

Powerboost doesn't increase KB anymore and I don't think it would boost the heal on hoarfrost but Incandescence (Destiny power) will, making it an almost full health heal with just one incand. The heal becomes something like 1400+. Also powerboost boosts your +tohit which is the only reason I have it on my blaster, with the amount of -tohit debuffs around at the moment, it can be handy to have.

As for your alpha, do you really need a lot of recharge on a fire blaster? I don't think so, your attack chain already has super fast recharges, I would take advantage of musc for pure +dmg or intuition for +dmg and +range. The game has pretty much come down to damage.

Also if you're building your blaster up to have some fun and you're not to serious then I would recommend one of the villain patrons; Mu mastery is insanely good, elec shackles, elec fences, a res shield and a pet. KO blow from leviathan is amazing if you're fast with melee, you said you like using TF well KO blow hits harder than TF + you get a -fly power with spirit shark jaws.

I just found that the old favourites, cold and force are just boring at this stage in the game, and with incandescence making greens pop for 500 or something similar, phase shift is really all you need to survive. I always found PFF to be slow and well not useful at most times.

...but it's up to you, whatever your epics fire blast is still gonna be great. Good luck

Morti.
